I haveposted the following several times please give it a read.What is it about American culture today? It is obvious that we are fighting a culture war, with conservatives on one side and liberals on the other. We have a massive divide between left wing liberal ideology and right wing conservative ideology. We have enjoyed the benefits of having a House and Senate so divided that they are unable to take action or make any decisions without hitting major gridlocks and having political mud slinging matches before one side makes a major compromise and action is taken, or a new law is past, in the end it winds up costing or damaging the American people!
The majority of American politicians no longer serve the American people they serve their own self interests or the special interest groups that funded their political campaigns that allow them to stay in office and retain their POWER, or one or more of their pet political projects leaving the American citizen with nothing.
We now live in an America where Race Warlords (like Jessie Jackson and al Sharpton) dictate what constitutes offensive and racial content. They hold large companies ransom and fleeces them for hundreds of thousands of dollars, promising that they will not protest their companies if they pay! All State Insurance paid Al Sharpton $300,000.00 per year!
Multiple media news sources NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, and CBS no longer reports the news they simply report their own personal political views, a media that ignores facts, edits truth, and smears lives to forward their political cause and view! News organizations that report hype as if they were announcing a sporting event as opposed to simply reporting the facts! We can no longer call the news the news its infotainment or a 24 hour political add for liberal democrats. 2008 will be marked as the year that investigative journalism died! It was replaced with investigative journalistic liberal activism. Media in the United States is now the new propaganda machine of Hollywood elites and the Democratic party!
Today we find ourselves living in an America were our freedom of speech has been censored with political correctness, where our children have less rights than the sexual predators that prey upon them, where its unsafe to have our children attend public schools, where illegal aliens from Mexico, can drive drunk and run our children down and gang rape and murder our daughters with impunity! A country where, its enemies have been extended rights under the U.S. Constitution, at time of war, while American citizens have their constitutional rights violated and abridged by the courts. We live in an America where citizen’s votes for a law or resolution will be counted, the law or resolution will pass by a majority vote, only to have the law or resolution overturned by the courts, not a democratically elected court, an appointed court that does not have a higher authority to answer to. An America where a foreign country, (Mexico) can send armed soldiers across its boarders, and take an American citizen, who is also a law enforcement officer, hostage and there be no response from the American Government! We live in an American where more Americans are killed in our major cities each month than are killed on the battlefields of a foreign war! And our politicians fight harder to end the war and violence in a distant foreign land, than they do to end the violence within the city streets of our country! We now live in an America where one of our presidential candidates not only voted against a law protecting live birthed children born during an attempted late term abortion, they argued in favor of the practice, and in favor of NOT extending any protection to the LIVE child. I live in an America where a wild animal, a small mammal, a flower, and a tree have more rights than a father does to have a job at a lumber mill so, he can provide for his family! I live in an America where elected officials go on vacation with their families during a national crisis instead of staying at work and serving the public they took an oath of office to protect, while the American Soldier spends years away from their family to deal with an international crisis that the politician voted to send them to! I now live in an America where Washington forces lenders to loan money to minorities that never had the means to repay the loans. A Washington that cripples America’s economy knowing that their policies were to blame and never take responsibility for it! A Washington that then gives themselves 850 billion in tax payer’s money after turning off the phones and faxes in Washington because of the overwhelming opposition to the plan!
I live in an America were you can burn the flag, say fuck America, write a sign that says thank god for dead American soldiers, protest anything and everything, say anything that speaks out against or diminishes our country, speak against conservatism, against white people, against rich people, against individual people, say fuck Bush!, fuck the President!, fuck the government! You can put down any religion Catholic, Christian, Mormon, etc. Hell you can even say, “ I need to go get the cracker vote” But, you better not say a word about the Muslim faith, because you will be labeled a racist. You can even make an off colored reference about a women being a pig with lipstick and run a political add making fun of a candidates physical handicap by saying, he doesn’t even know how to work a computer! Hell, you can even be one of the candidates running for President and not wear an American Flag pin but, you better not say the word nigger or nappy headed hoes! Unless you are Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, or a rap artist, then you can say what ever the F**K you want! You also, cannot have a conservative talk radio program that speaks about conservatism and conservative political views without being threatened by congress with passing laws prohibiting it’s existence, or have a Nevada State Senator, an elected official (Reid) speak out against a citizens right to freedom of speech on the Senate floor!
The left wants a culture written and scripted by them with no boarders, no boundaries, no language, no culture, no rules, and no laws, unless it affects them directly as individuals. Then they want all the protection you can pay for, for them. The left wants murders, gang bangers, drug dealers, and drug addicts released from prison, terrorists to have protection under the First, Fourth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments, as long as it’s not a newborn attempted late term aborted terrorist? Then they go into the trash pile at the hospital, or get suffocated, or strangled by the abortionist Doctor or a sharp pair of surgical scissors stabbed into their brain, at the base of their skull, if the mother still does not want the baby! Because according to the left, they do not want their daughters punished by a baby if they make a mistake!
I do not care who you are or what side of the liberal/conservative coin you are on, but a child that was born, out of the womb, out of the mother, into the world, and thrown into the trash at a hospital is still a child! We file criminal charges on a woman that does that out on a street, and call it murder, unless you are a liberal then you call yourself a feminist!
I see these few and some would say, relatively small issues, as a massive and fundamental difference between our sides and I ask what started the Civil War and The War of Independence. Wasn’t it simply that sets of laws were passed, fundamental cultural and political disagreements erupted, people being taxed without representation, laws being passed without representation, a people without a voice! The divide between the left and right has grown so large, and continues to grow on a daily basis that I find myself asking how long before this culture war of words, laws, and politics turns into a physical battle a conflict between the conservatives and the liberals a battle within our own country, a battle between good and evil, a battle between a culture that believes in boarders, language, culture, free market, self reliance, crime and punishment, religion, life and national pride! Against a culture that believes in open boarders, no one language, all cultures, no free speech, no self reliance, no free market, no religion, death, and anti national pride? What event or issue will produce the catalyst, the incipient event that starts it? Or has our society reached a point where the American Soul, the American Spirit, has been castrated to the point that there is no fight left in it to stop this cultural change, this shift from a free society to a Socialist/ Marxist one. A society that has news organizations that does not report the truth, they report opinions, and one sided views for the state party? As a conservative I can honestly say that I would lay down my life, trade my life to save even one child, one baby, born into this world, without any hesitation. At the same time I can say with the same conviction that I could take a life to protect or save the life of an innocent child! There is no price to great to pay for freedom and no sacrifice to great to give for it.
I have witnessed in my life the slow and methodical regression of conservatism and the American Sprit. Our conservative culture has drawn so many lines in the sand and said no further, only to take another step back and say, no further again, as we draw another line. It’s this slow erosion of our Original American Culture the course out lined for us by our founding fathers that I fear will be either the death of us all or the birth of the second American Revolutionary War. I couldn't agree more Maximus. I am completely perplexed that so many people walk around so blind to what is going on. It's the mentality...the media has finally done it! They've truly dummed down America to the point where the attention spans of the populous has ruined what true Americans really stand for. It's all about instant gratification, and a free ride for them. (I don't count myself a part of that!) I'll say one thing, O's handlers sure are doing a good job at keeping him popular! I have a feeling it's going to get really ugly, and that scares the crap out me! I don't normally listen to David Icke, mostly because my Liberal Sister was all about him. Now she doesn't like him anymore (because he doesn't like Obama!) so he must not be all bad...lol! He did predict this banking mess back in the early 90's. I read this article the other day.
