+5 raves Governor Perry did the right thing, and NO, that money is not free. First, Why take it if the St... Governor Perry did the right thing, and NO, that money is not free.
First, Why take it if the State of Texas can get by without it ?? Second,
the money is commimg from the pockets of the U.S. Tax payers that we will have to pay back to China with interest.
We are in debt to China for two trillion dollars already. China is already flexing its muscles at us militarily more confidently than ever before. And, because of that debt, as our primary lender, China is now telling what our Foriegn Trade policies should be. Finally, that money comes with many strings. It entangles every State that takes that money unconditionally from the Federal Government into a spiraling "Spending Spree" with the Feds. Those strings come with expensive programs attached that are really Un-funded Mandates from the Feds. ALL of those States will have to raise Taxes at the State level considerably to carry them on.
Thus, the Obama administration, Pelosi, and Reid can blame the Tax Increases on the State Governments, and claim everything good for themselves.

The $31,500,000,000 is barely a down payment on the future of this Bill. Please follow the bouncing ball beyond next week. In less than One Generation, (20 short years), we will have a near identical "One Payer" health care sytem to what Canada has if this Bill is enacted. The only difference between what Canada has and what we will have then, is that it will cost WAY MORE in operational, and Governmental costs here than it does there. Just look at every large Federally run Institution there is in the good old U.S.A. now. And remeber this: When the U.S. Government
took over a brothel named the "Mustang Ranch" in Vegas; they could not make a profit selling booze and whores in Vegas. They went out of business !!! So what on earth do you think they will accomplish with our health care system ??????????
