About Me

I enjoy country living..the quiet and closeness to nature is exquisite..it makes life much sweeter.
We have deer at our doorstep and wild turkeys, bald eagles fly overhead and we spend a lot of time watching the breeding boxes of our many and varied birds and filling the many feeders we keep going for them. We grow our own veggies and and fruit.. all organically..have a small greenhouse where I start all my flowers and veggie seeds..and have chickens for fresh eggs. We love animals.. I sold my Tennessee Walker Mare last year but we have two labrador dogs..I love reading and my main hobby is painting pictures, water, acrylic and oils..and photography which I use as a resource for my art.
We enjoy retirement but wonder where the time goes.. and why we are always so busy.. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Doing okay... bury in garden here too! We started an above-the-ground garden. A square-foot garden.. ever hear of it? Tim built the containers... we have all we need now it needs to stop raining so we can put it together! I hope your gardening is going well~ you're doing much less this year, I hope? :-o
