I made my peace with it, I mean it could be a lot worse, I could be dead! It's just an eye, I still have another one and I get to wear a cool patch and be a pirate every day not just Halloween. I'm considering myself pretty lucky - I get to walk away from something that should have killed me, and if the only payment the universe exacts is some scars and an eye, well, I'm happy to pay that price.

You fear for your children in a world that you know can hurt them - and perhaps you think that Chey is more vulnerable than the others - even though she is sometimes mouthy and hard to deal with or maybe because of it. Have you considered that she blocked you because you were a jerk to her, and she had no desire to get to know you better, because when you are a jerk to someone they tend not to want to get to know you? You say that people should all be accepting of other peoples opinions, and I agree, but there is a vast difference between having an opinion that differs from someone elses, and making hurtful comments about someone or being rude. If she doesn't want to accept your apology, then accept that and move on - creating polls like this to tell everyone about this apparent 'wrong' she has done you, just makes the situation worse, because even if you don’t use her name, you are still attacking her in a passive aggressive way.

    Oh, and to the person who suggested that she was DRing the poll – she can’t, when you block someone it works both ways.     (more)
