When I learned about the social structure (caste system) of Israel, I was immediately struck by the fact that I cannot be a full member of their society, because I am a white Christian. They, on the other hand, have full rights here. In fact they can even keep Israeli citizenship while serving in our Presidential cabinet. President Obama would be in the lowest class and basically have no rights in Israel, because he is not white. When Israel occupies an area, their apartheid comes with them. Non whites are the lowest class, and they are marked, much like the Jews and gays in Nazi concentration camps. Any sane person would fight Israeli occupation. Israeli apartheid and occupation are the causes of the conflicts with Palestine, Lebanon, and other surrounding nations. Look at the Israeli rulers and look at the leaders of surrounding nations. Which ones look middle eastern and which ones look European? How can you make an ancestral claim when you don't even look like the occupants? It's like me calling Viet Nam my ancestral homeland. Ignore the light hair, blue eyes, and 15 inch height difference over the Vietnamese, the Bible says I own this land. (more)
