Either way, the death was a tragic one. This needs a great deal of detective work. If the hospital is found guilty, without a doubt, as charged by the parents, it and all those responsible should be up on wrongful death charges. (more)

It's not so much that Americans love imports as much as many put safety of their families and quality of vehicle over buying overly expensive shoddy goods, especially when making so huge an investment as a car. I hope GM and other American car companies have learned this lesson soon enough not to face extinction. If they do go down, however, it is mostly their fault and not that of the public. (more) -

I just read about this, and it's a good idea, especially for folks who are hounded incessantly by nuisance calls. Trouble is, it costs money, which is fine if one can afford it. Otherwise, a good way to prevent being hounded to death is to put ones phone number(s) on the do not call list (it's free) which blocks all but charities and organizations one has already supported. I have caller ID and when I see a blocked call coming in, I don't answer. It's as simple as that! (more)

Fat people deserve the same rights as everyone else, but in the name of equality, they should not be privileged. If a thin person wanted to occupy two seats on a plane, he/she would have to pay for both seats. So why should a fat person whose derriere occupies 2 seats, only pay for one? Why should the industry, not to speak of the other passengers, subsidise people because of their size? If an obese person does not want to pay, then he should make every effort to make himself smaller. (more)

Why do you waste so much time spattering hatred and venom on the countryside? Where do you get your information that the Castro brothers are Jewish, and then so what? Jews are no different than any group. Some are fine people, others stink. How do you know what people are afraid of? Are you inside their heads? Truth is what you make it, my friend, and you are not making it very good for yourself. Try to enjoy life a bit. You will be a much happier person, and so will those around you.
