I thought Australia schools only had six or seven weeks of summer. I think I learned that in sixth grade. They are called semesters and terms here. Different schools have different schedules though, if a school has two semesters/terms then they are called semesters, if they have four then they are called terms. They are also called trimesters if a school has three of them. We have two weeks off for Christmas Break and we get a week off for Spring Break.

I got out on June 12th and I go back on September 7th. We have a pretty long summer break in America though.
