and appreciate you stopping by!! I do relate to those big cats in a very major way.. and can identify with both the lion and the lioness!!
Hope your weekend is a great one.. and a warm one !!
My irises just started to bloom.. sending some your way..
Thanks Chris! My Etsy shop and eBay don't represent all that we do.. at all.. just wanted to show you a sampling. A mix of my designs and theirs...lot of smaller products that give many women work. We also do larger one of a kind museum pieces. We like to have fun.. take a look..
Thanks for that snow shot.. nice to know what I am missing! I love snow! Look forward to more of your shots..
Spiritual.. yes.. immersion into this tribal culture in such amazing surroundings is more that I could ever ask for. Their art is incredible. For a sampling of what we offer.. to get an idea of what it is.. check out my eBay listings..
Cheers to spring as well, from the stormy state of Wisconsin:
Photo actually of blizzard we had in Fort Collins in late 2006, but I didn't have any photos yet of our current winter storm but will once I can dig out :-).
I like your new photos! Looks like a spiritual experience, especially paddling through the beautiful sea and working with beautiful art.
Thanks for the link! I'll bookmark it. Think rain!
Yes.. work with the Kuna is awesome. They are very primitive people.. I so relate. South Central America is so raw and real.. not to mention lush. Kuna live in a Caribbean archipelago next to Colombia. I love my time in a dugout canoe traveling from island to island. True adventure.
Just added more media on my page.. 3 women in canoe..
Uh oh! I probably should be careful when bringing up fire ;-) I hope it isn't a bad fire! Seems like the conditions are favorable for fires in that region according to the SPC: http://spc.noaa.gov/products/... but it looks like conditions might moderate during the weekend.
Cool photo of the Kuna artist. Your work looks fascinating!
Talk about synchronicity! Just walked outside for a short hike.. & guess what?
Smoke! A fire burning in AZ right now.. wind coming from the west so we 're getting it backed up here on eastern slope of the mtns. No smoke before my bird post. Amazing isn't it!
It was inside a house in Florida.. 2nd floor.. formica table with metal rim, next to an open window. None of us were touching the table.. the room turned green after a small strike. We were all stunned but not harmed.
Yes.. lightning can be dangerous.. we were lucky and now refer to the event each Thanksgiving! LOVE your posts too.. !!!
Wow! I'm afraid to ask, but a lightning strike that close often is very dangerous. I've known a few people that have been struck or really close to a strike, and I know for some people, life can be really difficult afterward. If it is something your comfortable sharing, I'd be interested to learn more about the incident. It's a good reminder to all of us how dangerous lightning can be. I'm glad you are here and I enjoy reading your posts.
Thanks for your compliment.. means a lot coming from you! I photograph my cats ( & others) just for the pure enjoyment of it.. and get lucky sometimes.
Glad you added more shots. They really are extraordinary!

(BTW, I didn't mean to imply you saw yourself as a male lion in the photo - I just thought it was a cool photo that had to do with cats.)
