  I have to say that this says it all. I have often asked myself. Just why do the Democrats preach all the hate and discontent about the Rich. When it has nothing to do with the Fraud that they force upon the American people every day. Why you might ask.   Just wanted to let my friends know that I broke my leg Tue Morning. Or I should say that one of my dogs clipped me on the back of the legs, and I fell over, my foot stayed the rest of me went done. So I broke the Fibula in my right leg, about 4 inches above the ankle. So I am even much more immobile that I was before, lol. I wish you one and all a Happy New Year. Glenn

  A CHRISTMAS THOUGHT
  
  There was a day, when we all looked forward to this day of days. With Pride, Goodwill, and Hope This was long, long ago. One might find a small tear or two in the corner of an eye. See the happiness in a child's face. hear the beat of your own heart.
  
  You might have dreamt of Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men.
  In that time long ago, one might dream of a White Christmas, or that special something or someone. A hearty meal with family or friends, or even somebody in need, or just alone. The exchange of a gift, for the joy of giving that gift.
  
  To see the smile, to get the hug, to know that we are loved. We need that touch, that feeling of caring, that closeness. The joy we get when a child finds a puppy or a kitten under the tree. These are the things of long, long ago.
  
  As time moves forward, with the next Christmas, and the nest. We find a wanting, that is out of reach to many. That smile, that tear, that hug, that loved feeling. Some because of illness, Some from death of a loved one. Some because of war. The feeling of well being, of contentment has gone.

Do they basically not worship the same things, the same God, but known by another name? Does it make sense at all to hate each other over that?
  
  Does it make sense to harm one another, to distrust, to hate? Resentment, fear or any other emotion, for whatever reason, are the not things that should have been left in that time long, long ago?
  
  In this time of now, we find that not only do we disagree over who’s Religion is better than the other, but we all strive to deny Religion at all. We send our young men and women to fight and die, in far off lands. Fighting over fanatical Religious beliefs, that are more a Political ideology. That is they are fighting for the take over over other Religions, rather than land. Is there ever a good reason for either?
  
  In this time of new, should we not feel compassion, understanding towards our fellow man? Should we not seek to find and maintain Peace on Earth, Goodwill towards All. No matter what ones beliefs are. Those are my thoughts of this time of new.
  
  In time to come, we should all consider these things. We should seek to have all families together for Christmas, or whatever you call this time of year. Should we not have our loved ones, home from far off wars? Should we not feel the love, or at least the understanding of all men in this time to come? Should we not find peace, instead of war? We should enjoy this time to come. See the happiness, shed a tear for those long gone, and one for the happiness of living. Enjoy the smile of a child. Feel the hug of a loved one, or even a stranger. Have the compassion to forgive. The insight to see ahead. The want of better things. These are the thoughts I have, and we should all have. Good will to mankind, no matter who your are or what you believe. Peace on Earth to one and all, from now and all time to come.

  These are some of the many definitions of conservatism, that in general a all correct. What they don't do is say that they are in most cases the complete opposite of that of Liberalism. To me that is neither good or bad. Its an opportunity for both sides to strive for common ground. And Govern this Nation for the benefit of all. But no. Both side choose to want just what they want. The right wants this Nation run in the traditional way, the way of the Constitution, and the Left wants Change, Social Engineering. In my option Change for the sake of change only. Seldom for the benefit of the whole Nation. But for a select few. Usually the Elite on the Left. Oh they scream that its for the little guy, but I have not seen it yet.
  
  More often than not I see the left Bash the Tea Party ( a conservative grass roots movement, but more conservative than republican) I see the Left year after year play the Race Card, and the sad thing is Our President does it as often as anybody on the left. They all use every means available to pit one group against the other, including the Republican Party. They have chosen as a matter of ideology and policy. To keep this Nation divided and mistrusting of anything that is not their idea.
  
  They pit, black against white. Male against female, Old against young, Jew and Christian against Muslim, Right against Left. Legal against illegal, and even right against wrong. Its ridiculous, but effective. Otherwise we would have a United States, and not a Country pitted against itself. We have not yet become so polarized that being # Polarization (politics), the process by which the public opinion divides and goes to the extremes
  # Polarization (psychology), the process whereby a social or political group is divided into opposing sub-groups. But we are pretty damn close to that point.
  
  Instead of working as one mind with the interest of the people at the forefront, We still choose to fight each other. Instead of supporting and defending the Constitution, we fight over its lawful and sacred word. When we can't get our way or see our way within it, we run to the liberal and most often radical judges, so they can legislate from the Bench, which by the way is a violation of their authority within the Constitution. But who am I to point that out. The right complains that the left will not include them (true) and the left complains that the right just sets there and blocks them (true, when your not considered needed, or part of the group) Open, and I mean open debate, does not take place behind closed doors. And how can anybody honestly, and legitimately vote for anything they don't read, ( that goes for anybody)
  
  Also how can any Congress, for together and fairly, when the majority party can change the rules at will. I ask you is that how it should work. How does it work at all. How does that benefit the people that both parties work for. So we go on year after year, doing the same old thin. One party changes the rules to benefit them, and as sone as the other gains power they change them to something else. Personally I think we should have another ammendment, that being that the people write and demand a set of rules for both houses, that can not be changed each year, month or day. Not that we don't have that already. But nobody seems to read or understand the Constitution. Let alone those in Congress that should have read and signed the back of their pocket constitutions that they get when sworn into office. So stating that they read and understand it.
  
  I have heard and read that we conservatives will not allow the leftists to discuss, debate or whatever is so much smoke and mirrors. I say that the left will not allow honest and open debate because of their own self centered bias, and their hatred towards anybody that questions their elite above all we are right mentality. Nobody is always right, nor wrong. Our Constitution was written and accepted for one purpose and only one. That we the people had rules of law to live by and that our government be obliged to follow. That meant and still means (even though denied by the left) that the federal government was designed and is subservient to the states. Not dominate. By our Constitution, the Federal (central) Government is governed by certain guidelines thus the eighteen (18) Enumerated Powers, and that is all the were given. They pick and choose them, or is read or expand them at will. That is not their job, nor authority. Even though you will never hear them admit it.
  They refuse to be honest about it and follow the Constitution. The left refuses to allow the states to do their jobs per the constitution. They refuse to make and sustain a small efficient government. All they see is bigger, bigger and bigger government. They see more and more and more spending to their benefit, not the American people. And just how do they keep their spending power. Taxes, taxes and more taxes. I have only seen one Democratic President that lowered taxes and the was JFK, and he showed that it was more beneficial to the people and the government. If he were running today, the Democrats would not have elected him because of that.
  
  So no matter what anybody thinks of Conservatism It means this to me. It means that we should be operating under and within the Constitution. That the Federal Government shall be small and subservient to the States. That the Federal Government will do nothing outside the Constitution. It means to me that we have the Constitutional Democratic Republic that we should be. That the People RULE nor the government. It means to me that I have the right to express my opinions, be they descent or praise of my government or country.

  I do not often listen to Rush, not that I don't find him entertaining, He is that. But like all commentators from both sides, I do not always agree with them. But I find this video rather amusing and factual. I know for a fact that nobody on the left will find it so. And that the so called main stream media surely will not. The sad fact is that the media has lost their way, have no ethics left as to their responsibilities of being the watch dogs of government, as it was indented when they were given the freedom of the press. But that is another issue. I find this video to be more fact than fiction. It says it to the point, that the left, liberals, progressives, and socialists included. Are self centered, and self generating. They See nothing beyond their own their own self interests, and that the only means of having a government that is functional. Is to have one that out grows itself yearly, if not sooner. That the people a kept in the dark about everything. Until a new law or entitlement is enacted. They us all the Rules for Radicals, and all the socialist propaganda that they can think up. Day after day, week after week, and so on year after year. They play their racial card whenever needed, they isolate and divide every group, every level of our society. They pit one gro...

It is called facts, they don't work in a leftist society. Truth is the enemy of the left. It can not be trusted, and it is not. I am just as disappointed in Right. They are not all the goody two shoes the profess to be. Both sides are self generating, in that they will do whatever they can to remain in office and power. That not the way that our government was set up to be run. It should be the Constitution, and the people that hold the controlling factors as to what this country is, and where it is going. Like any Profession and any person, they are all corruptible.If you don't have and use the checks and balances as prescribed in the Constitution, or of our laws. You will never curb that corruption. Its that simple. The stymied view of both parties are incapable with each other. The are self defeating, because one side wants smaller, responsible government. and the other wants bigger, and irresponsible government, that is only out for its own self interests. Social engineering at it best. Make everybody dependent on the federal government, thus, everybody will be beholding to one party, one group of elite. No government, is all powerful, and has never produced anything that was profitable, or useful to all its citizens. Everything the Government provides, is generated by somebody else, Their personal labor, intellect, or property. None of which any government has. They rely on the tax payer, and their labors to provide everything that government says they provide. This is fact, the world over. It you don't have tax payers, laborers, or businesses to support government, then you soon have no government that is viable. Once you have more entitled, than you do providers, you loose. This government has the same problem as most others. Once you have 1 task that needs to be completed, and you hire 10 others to see that, that person is doing their job. you soon, have to hire 100 to make sure that those 11 are doing their job. And so on. When in most cased, if you hired somebody that was competent, and willing to provide their labor. You would not need those 110 others, now would you. When you have unions that a self generating, and provide cover for those that are incompetent, and think that the world owes them something for nothing. Then you reap what you sew.

  My dream is that this Great Country of Ours is always FREE. That it’s People can always Pursue, Their God Given Rights, and Freedoms given them in our Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. Free from Tyranny, Corruption, and downright bold faced LIES that Our Government is trying to feed us every day. And that all the lemmings, that fall in love with them, Wake up and smell the roses, before this Great Country goes the way of the Europeans, and so many other Countries in this world. It's called FREEDOM, NOT DEPENDENCY.
