Ag.. I'm ready to leave NYS. The taxes are purely horrid. Property tax is awful. But it is beautiful here, gorgeous.

We are far removed, Politically, but I wanted to welcome you home Sir. I was in Vietnam (Bien Hoa) 66~67, and (Phan Rang) 70-71. Looks like you had a few more tours than me, but I broke my back on a hard landing 11 days before I was to DEROES. So I spent some time in a Cage in Okinawa. I used to fly in an O2B unpressurized Aircraft through heavily Misted Agent Orange Air telling the people on the Ground [Sic!] that we were not poisoning them, but spraying for Mosquitoes. (Also in the Chemical Soup - DDT) I was in the Psy-ops business my second trip. Offered a Medical Retirement with 75% in 76 as an E6, I turned it down and retired in 91 as an E9, at the time with 40%. Now 100% VA Service Connected Veteran with 30 years. Best years were after 75, including a stint with the Bundeswehr in NATO as Liaison NCO. Anyway - I know most of you guys don't care for my Politics, which is fine. I am an avowed Socialist-Democrat, and hated Reagan, loved Helmut Schmidt (SPD - West German Chancellor) and someone I feel was the Greatest Modern Statesman around since FDR. I also taught PME (Professional Military Education) at the Senior NCO Academy, Bergstrom AFB, teaching Civics, the Constitution and how it affect the Modern Military,. I just wanted to say, welcome home brother.
