concept. We are a group of artists with various skills
needed for the production and distribution of media
from music and film (theatrical and non-theatrical,
long and short format) to educational software, for
worldwide distribution. Our group contains musical
performers, screen writers, and illustrators as well
as full production services from pre- to
post-production. We also mentor for new artists and
projects.

Barry L. Shankman has been involved in all aspects of production, film, video, and audio since 1968.

He is well known for his restorations of GONE WITH THE WIND , NATIONAL VELVET and MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY with CLARK GABLE, as well as animation restoration for "ANIMA" of the DIAMOND PRINCESS, he was hired to supervise these animated restorations as a hands on LINE PRODUCER and being one of the first Inferno ARTIST to take these from original cut negative to finished 2K product to be recorded back to film in a LASER FILM RECORDER this was the first attempt at this type of restoration,,,,

He worked on long format feature films, (having various positions) with budgets ranging from $100,000,000usd and down.. He has a good working relationship with FOX, UNIVERSAL, PARAMOUNT, CASABLANCA as well as PARADISO FILMS (Caribbean),CAMMANDOR PRODUCTIONS (Moscow,Russia),GENUIS FILMS & 3D (Romania) and several of the Independent film production companies through out the world.

In the 80's he helped develop techniques used with Korean and Japanese animation companies. He worked as supervisor of post production and quality control traveling between the USA , SINGAPORE, BANGKOK and HONG KONG. …

In the early 90's he and his wife ran and owned a low power TELEVISION STATION in the LA BASIN K53DU which led him to the Tournament of Roses Parade as Technical Director for HI DEF BROADCAST.

Mr. Shankman in the 70’s worked for ABC INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION starting as an AUDIO ENG for NEWS , then moved to GENERAL HOSPITAL (camera operator). With this expertise he was hired by the RONALD REAGAN for President Campaign ( GOP) production as DOP for television campaign commercials…..

With this combined knowledge he started to consult, design, build and train the staff for STATE OF THE ART PRODUCTION and POST PRODUCTION FACILITIES all over the world from MOSCOW to NEW YORK, HOLLYWOOD to LONDON as well as SAN JUAN.

In the early 70's he owned STAX records and from that time through today he has been a nominating member of the GRAMMY (NARAS) AWARDS as well as the LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS (LARAS).

Mr. Shankman is an active member of MENSA,TIG,CML,APP,FCP-L,RED-USER-GROUP ...He now consults with major content and e-commerce companies on e-education, e-video-streaming, during this time he was one of the developing partners for interactive video and streaming content for major portals and motion picture companies….

Barry and his wife Betty own and devote their time to a 501-C3 (non-profit) “Friends and Family of the Mentally Ill”,where they develop films for the use of families touched by mental illness to help them through the maze of the Mental Health System…
