+9 raves insane. i would venture to bet that it has more to do with the 'religous' nature of the group, th... insane. i would venture to bet that it has more to do with the 'religous' nature of the group, than the gender part. surely in regards to the 'gender' issue they would see the stupidity of that argument considering the fraternities and sororities. i wonder if it was a buddist or muslim group, or other 'religous type' group, if they would respect their right to meet with their 'own'. one more, unsurprising, example of Christian oppression in our society. everyone HAS to "tolerate" everyone...except Christians! Christians are supposed to sit down and shut up, because if we say anything then WE are labeled intolerant and that just won't be tolerated. so we can't have Our groups, we can't express Our opinions in politics, we can't follow Our hearts in prayer in public, we can't put up symbols of Our religon if anyone else can see it, we can't hire or not hire according to Our beliefs --- but EVERYONE else can, and are even encouraged too. be free, express yourself, live for your rights, but by golly DON'T DO IT IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN!!!! +3 raves i believe that he knows more than he is willing and/or able to share with americans. i think his ... i believe that he knows more than he is willing and/or able to share with americans. i think his 'gut feeling' is probably based on facts that can't be told at this time. i have heard from a military personel that there is so much more going on that is not made public to americans, either for reasons of security or to just not freak us all out. there have been numerous, and i mean Numerous, plots against us that have been foiled by the military, some just at the last moment. just because the media doesn't get hold of all of these, doesn't mean they are not happening. so, i think this 'gut feeling' was the only way that he could express to the people that we are at risk, and it is real, and that he cares and wants us to think seriously about it and not just blow it off. politicians have 'rules' that they can't always break just because they want to. many will believe he was just blowing smoke and criticize him for speaking like this, but i bet it was the only way he could express it. +2 raves i'm certainly not up on the law, but if the sheriff has the right to make that decision, he shoul... i'm certainly not up on the law, but if the sheriff has the right to make that decision, he should not be punished per se, just reprimanded for stupidity!!! if he is blaming the judge for giving her the sentence after her blatant 'up yours' attitude towards the law, as evidenced by her actions, then he needs to find another job, because he is not of an attitude to 'protect and serve'! as for her, she needs to do the time that she was sentenced. if she needed medical attention, then to recieve it, then get back to finishing her time JUST LIKE A NON CELEBRITY would have to!!!! +2 raves i'm not only a football fan, i am an avid Colts fan!! i like some of the commercials but am appal... i'm not only a football fan, i am an avid Colts fan!! i like some of the commercials but am appalled at the thought of all the money that goes into some of that garbage. we don't drink or party and the halftime show never really interests me. i guess i'm just in it for the football - which i thought was what the whole thing was about. silly me.
