Activities
Blogging seems to be my latest pastime. Shopping is still my favorite thing to do.
Interests
I work, cook, do as little laundry as possible, and pick up a book when ever my husband isn't looking. (He thinks I should do more working.) I'm pretty busy with 2 businesses, and 2 teenagers in wrestling. But everyone is entitled to my opinion and I'm raising strong, intelligent Democrats to spread it.
I credit my older sister with my wide exposure to music and my politics. She was a peace-loving hippie protester while my oldest brother was a gun-toting Vietnam veteran. They were both a decade older than me. I grew up witnessing some very heated dinner conversations.
My sister died when I was 26 leaving me stuck debating my 2 Republican brothers alone. My mom is no help whatsoever. She stays out of it but I know she agrees with me when they aren't around.

Favorite Heroes
My mother, my grandmother, my great-grandmother. I come from a long line of tough, independent woman. My grandmother was raised in East Texas at a time when men outnumbered women 257 to 1. She was a business woman that ran a store and barber shop at the same time Bonnie & Clyde were on the loose. She carried two 45s on her hip at all times to discourage would-be robbers.
