I am a single woman, a grandmother of 4 kids who I love dearly. I have one passion in life! WORLD PEACE!!!! I am a poet, a writer, a singer, etc.! I have 3 daughters who are all grown. I like to read, listen to and write lyrics (though I am not a musician), support ethical leadership, and generally try to be compassionate and peaceful.

Also, I try to adore my grandkids and spend quality time with them. I teach them all that I know! They are my hearts and a big part of my mission!
World Peace is my passion! Politics, Philosophy, Reading, Air America Radio ( I am a junkie), Thom Hartmann Chat Room(I'm Poet), The Huffington Post (Jane22), The Nation.com, Sociology, Singing, Writing, Poetry, Friendship, Networking and organizing the coming CHANGE to World Peace- The Mass Movement!
Since I go back to the 50's with music, I love R/B, gospel (that is where I started out in voice), I adore folk (Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, etc.), Smooth Jazz (Fourplay among many), and generally any sound that is MELODIOUS! AND Pretty. I do not favor hard rock, but I am tolerant of other sounds. I like some country or anything with meaningful Lyrics.
I do not watch much T.V. I do occasionally turn it on to Free Speech TV as I only get 20 channels free with my Internet.
Dances with Wolves, Gandhi, The Color Purple, Gone With the Wind, The Roots Series on TV, The Thornbirds and many Miniseries, Losing Isaiah (Halle should have got her Oscar for this one), Dr. Zhivago, Beloved, and some more I can't remember right now.

Jane! Always delighted to hear from you! Boy I wish I had a job! It doesn't help I can't stand on my feet all day. Many SH's have gone to FB, so we have a place to meet when we get 404'd, it seems to be quite common to de-activate us for hardly a reason at all. Go figure they practice bias here!
