I can't disagree with you there.

And he wants America to fail.

Rush Limbaugh and his mindless minions want America to fail.

Obama is set on making the United States a leader again. The current administration is working toward getting on our economy back on solid ground. Obama is working toward the success of America.

. . . And Rush Limbaugh, the de facto Conservative leader in America, wants Obama to fail.

Wanting Obama to fail at helping America succeed is the same as wishing failure upon America.

Modern American Conservatism IS Rush Limbaugh.

American Conservatism is criminally insane. It has become nasty, brutish, and meaner than ever. It is suicidal.

American Conservatives, headed by Rush Limbaugh, are set upon their own destruction and the destruction of the country they parasitize.

Please explain to me how hacking into Obama or McCain's campaign computers is tantamount to a breach of national security.

Their campaign plans had very little to do with the process of government.

You want me to stand together with those of you who think "Barack Obama may be against everything our constitution represents . . . ?" I don't think so.

And you're calling for us to stand together to "pray for our country? " Well Tweetz, praying is all good and well, but calling for a mass pray-in probably isn't going to get anything tangibly constructive done.

We need to look at solutions that we ourselves can effect. Sure, Bush is in the habit of praying before making a major decision. And so is Osama Bin Laden. And so is that wacko head of state in Iran. That's a big problem with the world today . . . too much emphasis on people's different interpretations of God's will . . . and not enough emphasis on practicalities. Every one of these "great leaders" makes their decisions based on what they think God wants them to do.

So let's just all get real. There will not be a consensus of opinion in America, even if every American prays and then swears they know what God wants.

You ask for Americans to stand together and pray. But Obama will ask all of us to take part in various projects . . . to contribute our time and talents. If you're going to ask something of our citizenry, doesn't it make better sense to ask them to WORK together in creating solutions to the myriad problems that confront our nation?

I'm not saying that praying is a bad thing necessarily. There is nothing wrong with prayer . . . unless it is misused as a substitute for actual participation in the physical processes required to improve our world.

Progress is all about working toward a beneficial goal. That's why some of us like being known as Progressive.

So let's work together to improve our country, our world, and the world our children will inherit.

. . . sounds to me like Biden IS kicking ass . . . as the beauty queen tries to sidestep.

Palin's response to Bidens direct assault is to sidestep and change the subject.

You're putting the cart before the horse.

You are confusing cause and effect.

Do some people have big feet because they wear big shoes? No of course not. They wear big shoes because they have big feet.

Are some people poor because they vote Democrat? No, of course not. They vote Democrat because they are poor.

Since the mid 1960’s, the Democratic Party has been recognized as the Party of social justice.

The Democratic Party is the party of positive change. Do you think poor people want positive change? Well, of course they do. They don't want to be poor anymore. And the Democrat party is the party that can help make that happen.

Therefore, it is only natural and right, that any and all Americans who desire progress and positive change will be Democrats.

You see how that works now?

That child is a hydrocephalic. He most likely has NO cognitive ability at all.

Hydrocephalics, in an advanced state like that, are most often little more than vegetables.

. . . No personality to speak of . . . no ability to think.

One summer (I think I was twenty years old), I worked in a sanatorium for the severely handicapped. It was a hospital run by the state.

We had a couple of hydrocephalics. I remember one in particular. His head was even larger then the head of the child in the picture. I think he may have been in his teens . . .hard to tell. It took two of us to lift him . . . one to lift the head and one to lift the tiny body that I know weighed less than the head.

These hydrocephalics had no capacity to communicate, and they exhibited nothing really in terms of recognizing other people or their surroundings.

These kids required full time care. That's why they ended up in a state-run institution.

Visitors were allowed on weekends, and plenty of parents and family members would come to visit their child or sibling . . . but usually not the families of the hydrocephalics or other people with no ability to think or respond.

I can understand why. What's the point? It would be more heart wrenching than anything. The kids wouldn't know if you visited them or not.

By the way, most of these children die in a few years, even with the best of care.
