  • Hi, Sue - so nice of you to stop by and post on my profile. Always happy to see you.

I'm in a very busy season right now so I'm missing all my SH pals - but I peek in for a bit each day to see what's buzzing on the polls. The CIA/Cheney issue should be a hot one....

It was made legal retroactively for despicable reasons, and how many fans of the Spanish Inquisition and their like are there out there? Apparently a lot. Very sad for this country!
As far as producing a breeding ground for terrorists, I was watching program on the History Channel called "100 years of Terror" yesterday. One of the prime interviewees was an Irishman, had been a law student, during the beginning of the worst between the British government and the Northern Irish separatists. He was convinced, as a law student that the rule of law would, in the end , settle the matter, until he came home on break. He was treated miserably by the British army, saw members of his family

After a while he became convinced that the law would never protect him, his family and others like them and became a self-admitted terrorist, having killed Lord knows how many admittedly innocent people on the other side as well as going after British soldiers, for years! Here was someone who had the education and will to help contribute to peace but was unwillingly driven to kill because it seemed the only way he and others like him could deal with the situation. How many terrorists have we created as opposed to winning them over to our side by the way we have treated them?
