About Me

Although I stated when I started on SodaHead that I was against blocking other users, I've come to the conclusion that it is a necessary evil. So, with that said, if you find that you've been blocked it is for one of the following reasons:
A. You are racist in your responses. I will not tolerate racial slurs of any kind.
B. You are threatening or overly aggressive with your responses.
C. You are so unintelligible that I would be unable to formulate an intelligent or informed response to your nonsensical ramblings. It's hard to debate with totally brain dead people. This does not mean that I am opposed to differing views. I won't block you just because I don't agree with you.
IF I fail to respond to a posting of yours in response to mine, please don't feel neglected. SH has been a bit cranky as of late and I see on my dashboard that I have responses. I click on them only to be directed to what I affectionately term "the no zone." This just happened with a response to the blog "Will you vote for 4 more years of Prez Obama."
Middle aged, middle of the road kind of woman. I want everyone to respect each other and do good things for each other (hey, I'm a cancerian) because ultimately, that is what will allow us to survive or not as a society. If you act like a jerk, I'll call you an asshat. Sometimes I have a potty mouth. Get over it. Honesty is paramount. Free thinker that is not a sheeple to the trains of thought of others which is why I'm upset with the current administration. I don't need any person or entity to tell me how to live, what to purchase or how to behave or think.
For those of you that are saying "why does Boberry have herself listed as a moderate?" Well, yes... I am conservative in the fiduciary sense, but in social aspects I can be moderate. I'm not a gay basher and some would take away my conservative card for that one. C'est la vie.
I may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but at least I think for myself and don't blindly quote or follow and specific group.

I'd like to meet

Unfortunately the one person I'd like to meet (Leonardo DaVinci) has been dead for centuries. I used to say I'd settle for meeting Morgan Freeman or Robert Downey Jr. :-) I have recently discovered that I would LOVE to meet Allen West.

Activities

Art, reading, digital graphics, listening to all types of music with the exception of country or bust a cap in your @$$ (c)RAP

Interests

Graphic Arts, Contemporary music, reading, researching random points of interest.

Favorite Music

I like pretty much everything with the exception of hillbilly country music or rap. Rap is too negative and denigrates women far too much for my comfort.

Favorite TV Shows

24, Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, Dexter, Flash Forward, Fringe, House. I know. I know! I seem like a budding couch potato, but thanks to DVR, I speed through the commercials, thereby spending less time on my buttocks.

Favorite Movies

Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Boondock Saints, Practical Magic, Any movie with Morgan Freeman in it. Loved Shawshank Redemption. I'm mildly interested in the train wreck that is Michael Moore. He seems to have good intentions at least and when he doesn't, at least he's laughably amusing.

That would require a bit of thought. I have so many people that I admire and amazingly enough, none of them are signed on with recording studios. Definitely our U.S. servicemen and women.
