About Me

I am a widow, mother of 4 daughters and grandmother of 5. These people are my top priorities in life. I retired from my position as admitting supervisor in a local hospital and am enjoying my non-structured free time. I love all things political.

I'd like to meet

I'd like to meet President bill Clinton and Barney Frank. I also would love to meet Michael Connelly and Phillip Margolin two of my favorite authors. If I could meet people who have passed on I would choose my husbands brother who was killed at the age of 19 in World War Two.

Activities

Exercise class, chatting with family & friends. I do not have many activities going on right now. I do plan to become more involved in politics at the local level. I also plan to volunteer at my local library.

Interests

My love of reading is my #1 favorite thing. Give me a good mystery, court room drama or medical thriller and I am content. I belong to a book group at my local library and an exercise class. I love to look at my garden,but I have a black thumb, so the extent of gardening for me is watering the plants. I love good food,but I don't especially like to cook unless it's for a big crowd.

Blues, light rock, classical. I love just about all the music I hear.

NCIS,The Good Wife,Friday Night Lights.CSI New York, Damages, Mad Men, 24, Sixty Minutes, Count Down with Keith Olberman, The Mentalist.

Favorite Movies

Gone with the Wind, Grapes of wrath, Jaws and so many I could not name them all. Anything with Jimmy Stewart.

Favorite Books

A time to kill & The Rainmaker by Grisham. To kill a Mockingbird, Postmortem, Toxin, Anything by Michael Connelly & Phillip Margolin. So many wonderful books I could never begin to name them all.

Favorite Heroes

First at the line is my husband. No one could be a bigger hero than him. President Obama for all he believes in and wants for this wonderful country. Given a chance he could perhaps be one of the greatest Presidents of all time.
