Oh yeah, we get the fires! The L.A. and San Bernardino National Forests are in the mountain range right behind my house. We've had some bad fires up there. 2003, I think, was a pretty devastating year. It was beautiful to watch at night though...despite the destruction it was causing. It snowed ash for a few days.

Have you lived in San Francisco all your life?

i love japantown, it's the next neighborhood over from me. i've done my share of kickin it there. the food is amazing, i have a favorite restarant in j-town called saporo. check it out next time you're northern.

where you live sounds hot. are you guys getting the forest fires down there?

I live in Rancho Cucamonga, it's about 40 miles east of L.A. I've been to San Francisco a couple of times, it's pretty awesome. The last time I was there it was raining, so it kinda took the fun out of site seeing. I went to Japantown though...had some good sushi, so it wasn't a total loss!
