About Me
I hate filling in these things because I never know what to say! I'm currently a college student studying psychology. I plan to become an adolescent/family counselor. I haven't quite decided yet, but family and the well being of children are very important to me.
I'm an absolute dork. I have doodle competitions during classtime (and I win every time, might I add.), I play more than a healthy amount of Xbox 360, I read comic books, and I love Nerf Guns. If it were socially acceptable, I'd wield some sort of Nerf weapon everywhere I went. Some call it immature, I call it enjoying life.
[Who cares what people think, what do YOU think?]
I think most..legal..forms of expression are beautiful. Such as dance, art, literature, etc.
I absolutely love reading; from fantasy novels like His Dark Materials (my personal favorite) to comic books like Y the Last Man (a must read for all those who think comic books are lame). Books are my escape when the world starts to feel as if it is too much.

Um, let's see, in Europe? Italy, Czech Republic, France, Scotland and we lived in Wales for all of six months when I was little. I paid for my trips to Italy, Prague, France and Scotland on my own :D

For university, the UK, they speak my first language... not to mention, studying English and theatre would work out better there, haha. I love Europe in general though, it's so much more... just more. When I was in Italy, in Florence, I'd never felt more at home in my life. It was so weird.

Oh well, like I said, to assignments and a final to bring my grades back up. The last assignment we did, I got 86 on it and the class average was 72. :D

Bah, no, he was just mean with the information he gave us beforehand. He gave us a copy of a prior midterm test that was EASY, but then made this one HARD... most of my classmates left complaining, haha.

Yeah, he asked us if we wanted it before or after reading week. I wanted it after, the majority wanted it before... so, he made it today. I have to go write it in 40 minutes or so, I'm attempting to cram some extra information in... but I got distracted.

Oh indeed he does... plus he's just geeky in general, likes to use his iPhone as a prop... and imaginary props as well. "Okay, so, if I were a good teacher, I'd have an actual rubber band, but since I suck, you'll all just have to pretend I have one." Seriously, he said that in lecture on Wednesday.

You know, other than my astrophysics prof (who is ordinary appearance-wise, but just too awesome to not be attractive), none of my current professors are attractive... although, last semester, my Women in Antiquity prof was pretty hot... she was also out of her mind, but it made things interesting. The TA for my philosophy tutorial is all right... but he's also married... with kids. That knowledge is somehow more a turn-off than I'd thought, lol.

I would totally date an astrophysicist... hell, if my prof wasn't married... nah, that would be weird. xD

People often read it as "shy" instead.
Meh.
Really? We watched this in a music lecture last year... my teacher thought it was amusing.
Teehee, I LOVE that video.
You could just call me by my real name, Shai.
I've gone by "rits" before, and often people just call me "running," but never in the real world... although I've a myriad of other names my friends like to call me on different occasions, lol.
You would think they would be... well, no, they were, but trying to explain half of the nonsense that went on would be... a challenge. xD
With my family, I've also been to Mexico (too hot, but the Mayan ruins were super awesome), a few Caribbean islands.
And the States, haha, Disneyworld in Florida, Buffalo for shopping, and New York City for awesome fun times.
And now I'm broke, barely able to afford school, no longer able to afford rent, and living in my parents' house again, LOL.
I want to travel more... when I have money xD
If I could afford to go abroad, I'd be on the next plain to the UK. There are several universities that I've heard good things about (from various friends and family members), and it would be a nice change... hell, had I the money, I'd have moved to Montréal for school instead of staying in Toronto, haha. I love Toronto, but I've lived here for most of my life... I get bored.
No, according to a few friends that have been in schools both here and in the States, it's harder up here, lol.
I had a friend move to Florida when we were in high school. She was maybe a C average student. In Florida? She was averaging As. I asked her how that was possible she said "They're covering stuff we covered last year."
Not to say American schools are bad, they're not... we're just better ;P
So, I'm not too concerned.
LOL, I just didn't feel confident with my answers... but it's all right, I can make up for it with the two remaining assignments and the final exam... haha.
I'm just glad it's keeping me focused (ish) on astrophysics, my mid-term's tomorrow afternoon, haha.
xD Bitchy prof's are lame. But it's true, you can change personalities in fantasies.
And I love nerds... perhaps that's why I've a crush on my astrophysics prof, lol, he's a HUGE nerd... it makes me happy... he even references Doctor Who and Star Trek on occasion in his lectures.
Bwahaha, I never thought I'd be having a conversation about hot teachers tonight, haha.
Hottest teacher I ever had was my German teacher (who also taught me maths in grade 9). He had THE best ass, it was a wonder I learnt anything... he was also a rugby player. :D
Oh, fuck you and your awesome classes, lol. My school's all like "We are academic, you need to learn boring shit to get a degree here." Don't get me wrong, UofT is a fab school, and I'm glad I had the grades I needed to get in, and that I did get in... but I hate it, it's the wrong place for me, haha.
