  • I love it whenever the police get involved in the community, that's great! (I love cops, period ;o)
    Things are okay here~ John's taking some tests today that he's kind-of worried about, for his Gateway to College program. Last night he was asking me some math questions that I hadn't ever heard of..... I can't even remember. It was funny because I actually thought I might be able to help him before he told me what it was... it's as if math has been re-invented since I was a kid. No! I'm not smarter than a 5th grader! :P

  • Good to hear from you Tpem! :) Thanks for the compliment about my girls! They are sweet most of the time! Ha! Ha! :) lol Glad to hear Karson is enjoying ballet and tap! :) Two of my girls have taken ballet, and they really enjoyed it as well. My oldest has decided she wants to try cheerleading now, and she is taking piano lessons. Enjoy your day friend! :)

  • Hi thanks for the remarks about my son surfing. That is the love of his life. That was my jeep and there were two of them that matched. I used to give tours in the rain forests of Hawaii in them. :-)

  • The last time I went to Vegas was about 16 years ago! Thanks for the tip about South Point- I'll try to remember that, that's a good price even for Vegas. We paid about $1200 for 4 nights for the July 4th at Seaside mainly so we could have a good view of the fireworks... it's a lot of money but it was worth the memories. You know- we probably could've paid the same and went to Vegas with a room with a good view for the 4th!
    I'm glad you're having fun with the kids : )
    It's supposed to be 99 today and then above 100 the next few days.

    +9 raves Very good point. I have been out of work for over a year and I have a degree and 24 years execut... Very good point. I have been out of work for over a year and I have a degree and 24 years executive experience including having been recognized with numerous awards and most of the time I get "your overqualified" or "your not qualified" of course they won't tell you how they came to that conclusion. I have no doubt that I get discriminated against because of my age, my gender and my color. I am a victim of diversity as are many older white males. I can remember when it was against the law to ask a person's age, gender or race on an employment application. Now they are required by the government to ask those things. "Oh we only use the information for statistical purposes" If that is true why don't they get the information after your employed and why does the government provide corporations with tax incentives to hire minorities or people on welfare? This country has been turned upside down and will not survive if those citizens who have been educated and productive continue to be punished. (more)
