Big hair, bubblegum pop disguised as heavy metal, and basically boring songs. I have grown to appreciate a few of their songs, but I used to refer to them as Bon Blowme, and that song "Shot through the heart, and you're too lame...you give rock a bad name." Metallica, on the other hand, is everything that was RIGHT with music. Even though they went a bit more commercial in the '90's, they did it pretty much by their own rules. And besides, the music of Metallica is WAY better. (more)
