About Me
I'm Eighteen years old so obviously I'm a student I'm from Iraq but right now I live in America legally. I am very glad that I got a chance to live here, and be a part of this wonderfully diverse society. I'm a vegetarian, Liberal, and a proud book worm.
I'm very ambitious, and I love healthy debates, usually about politics, I loath things like extreme stupidity, Twilight, Disney singers, and I really hate it when teenagers can recognize a useless person like Paris Hilton, yet they are completely oblivious to someone like Alice Paul.
I do not label myself as a member of a party for they have both proven their lack of efficiency and patriotism. I do not support Liberalism fully, although I agree with most of its ideologies, but a small government means less corruption.
I'm also a classic Liberal, not the Israel-hating, self-contradicting, paranoid, conspiracy theory fan, that don't know the difference between tolerating what is different and tolerating what is wrong.
I'm pro-choice.
I love medicine, i'm very fascinated with how the human body functions, and I'm not one of the kids that always whine about how schools drowns them in homework even though they don't do any of it.
I have one dream at the moment, which I'm working very hard to achieve, that is going to Harvard, I passionately love the uniqueness of that university, and hopefully one day I'll be good enough to go there.
I've started a new job this summer-which happened to be my first- in Internet marketing. Still new and learning my way around, but I'm getting there.
I can't wait for the day in which I'll see all tyrannical dictatorships fall, I've lived under one, and it's not pretty.
My Political Views
I am a left social libertarian
Left: 4.53, Libertarian: 4.99

Myth busters & Top gear. Not much of a TV fan.
Favorite Movies
Dangerous beauty, Iron jawed angels, Enemy at the gates. Or any movie that portrays a real and inspiring Character.
Favorite Books
1984 by George Orwell truly deserves to be called the bible of literature, Nemesis by Luise Cooper, Anything by D.H Lawrence or Oscar Wilde, I also like Dracula by Bram Stoker (whom unlike Meyer can actually write about vampires), the known world was good, sometimes I read philosophy Freud was a genius, Marcus Aurelius was a wise man. Although disturbing, I found slaughterhouse-five quite interesting and very well written. Dan Brown is also a great thriller novelist.
Favorite Quotes
"we do not worship power in our enlightened souls, power is degenerated to money and Napolionic stupidity"
-D.H.Lawrence/ the rainbow.
"The roots of violence: wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, worship without sacrifice, politics without principles."
-Mahatma Gandhi.
"Let no man pull you low enough to hate him."
- Martin Luther King Jr.
"It occurred to me that I just didn't see how I could go ahead and continue to eat meat. It just seemed so... cannibalistic to me. And so, I'm a vegetarian, and I have been ever since."
-Alice Paul.
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."
-Benjamin Franklin.
"Do not become so tolerant, that you would tolerate intolerance!"
-Bill Maher.

I wasn't saying that they were gluttonous for not eating meat. I meant that statement for every type of diet.

Hope things are well with you. I've been too busy with work and fatherhood to be on as much as I would like. Maybe things are beginning to free up for me. I'll try to be on more often.

Happy Thanksging!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead:))
Hugs Chaya:))
I know that some vegetables, such at lettuce, has no actual nutrition but is a wet fiber. The only benefit from lettuce is its water and as a filler which aids in digestion. Most people do not need help in getting the most out of their food with how much of it they eat, and I would rather have a glass of water.
And yeah, pie... I'm guilty.
I love peanut butter, and would probably have nuts as the largest portion of my nutritional intake if I could. Nuts and chocolate are awesome together. And an apple dipped in caramel is heaven to me, and highly nostalgic as it was a special treat for me when I was a child.
I am not an athlete either, but I do work hard. I take pride in my body and what it can do. I try and keep a balance between a healthy mind and body rather than focusing entirely on one or the other. The concept that they are different is more of a human thing, as the mind is part of the body, and every thing we consume is a drug that affects our mentality. Foods that are high in B vitamins tend to be better for serving our memory, while proteins and carbohydrates are more the building blocks used to repair and fuel the constant construction our bodies are under.
