I'm 42 years old, I was born in Pennsylvania to Canadian parents. I moved to Canada when I was 4 and lived there until I was 38. I have never been married, only because I'm lousy at picking men!! I was a foster parent for over a year, and got railroaded big time!!! I have worked in social services for years, I worked in group homes for the mentally handicapped for 20+years. I presently work as a Welfare Case Manager for a workforce board. I call myself a humanitarian first, and a socialist second. I do not care what one side or the other says or how loud they yell and rant.............I want facts!!! I own my own home, drive a convertible and work for a living but I still would like to see universal health care, and no I don't expect those who don't have what I have to get off their lazy asses and get it......not everyone can be as blessed, and it doesn't mean that they aren't trying and don't deserve help. I love to help people as much as I humanly can and I don't like to see anyone suffer including animals. I love my dog BB, he is my buddy!!

I would love to make more money but I know that working in social services is not about making money but about helping people which is my source of happiness!!
