About Me

I'm a freelance writer and online journalist who is, currently, writing on Chapter 8 of a ten-chapter book. I'm also involved with Invisible Youth Network (a non-profit organization for reaching out to homeless and/or otherwise at risk youth) where I'm the Deputy Chairman of Public Information.

Again, a limitless list, but one person I'd definitely love to meet in person would be Russell T. Hartsaw, IYN's founder and chairman. My heart is on my sleeve when it comes to this precious person!

Enjoying my life and having good, clean fun.

I have so many interests that I couldn't even begin to write them all down here. One of my favorite things to do is to get in my minivan and drive the backroads with camera and poetry journal on the seat beside me in case needed (usually, needed at some time or other in my journey).

Anything that sounds good to me with my very favorites being country and the oldies.

60 Minutes, Classic TV with I Love Lucy being my VERY favorite in this genre, 20/20, Larry King Live, Cold Case, Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight, reality shows about family life, game shows with my very favorite being The Price Is Right, talk shows (REAL ones and NOT trash TV). Although I don't have much time to watch it these days, my all-time favorite soap is All My Children.

It's A Wonderful Life is my all time favorite, and I also love all things Shirley Temple. Some others include The Sound Of Music, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Other Sister, The Other Side Of The Mountain, Conrack, A Child Is Waiting, The Wedding Planner, Christmas movies, Penny Serenade, Mr. Holland's Opus, Coal Miner's Daughter, The Birds, Madame X, The Next Voice You Hear, Gone With The Wind...and then some...

The Book that is actually a small library: The Bible; Chicken Soup books; Heidi (a childhood favorite); books written by friends--as well as those written by me; children's books; anything written by Erma Bombeck; books about holidays; biographies/autobiographies; the classic book called In His Steps...and then some...

"W.W.J.D.?" (inspired by In His Steps)
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John Lennon
"I took the road less traveled by, and that made all the difference." Robert Frost

Jesus, my mom and dad, and various others such as Russell T. Hartsaw, Roger Dean Kiser, Mother Teresa, Princess Diana, Martin Luther King, and Abraham Lincoln.
