It is the statement made by the results of this election. Massachusetts has a history of voting for more liberal minded candidates. Ted Kennedy held one of the senate seats in Massachusetts for many years. He was one of the biggest proponents of the socialized health care, which Massachusetts already has on a state level. Yet, these historically liberal voters overwhelmingly chose a conservative over the expected shoe-in liberal. It is a statement that the people do not like the direction that our government is taking the country. Combined with the two conservative gubernatorial victories last fall, this election is an indication of future trends. This one seat will at least throw a monkey wrench into the efforts that the current administration are putting forth. If the health care reform is delayed until the fall, the people will have had a chance to make enough changes in the representation in Washington to dramatically effect the outcome. One must remember though, it is not the conservatives, nor the Republicans that are making these changes...it is the People of America and THEIR voice. (more)

    1) Even if you don't like McCain (which he wasn't my best pick either), you need to give some real evidence as to why he could be considered 'psycho'. The fact that you put the word 'PSYCHO' right next to POW offends me GREATLY. As far as Palin goes, you are entitled to your opinion, but unsubstantiated it has the same value as any other opinion. If you cannot explain and support your claim, it is worthless.

    2) If we are bringing Hillary into this, then why don't we pick from the other Republican primary candidates. However, I would vote for Hillary myself if it could get Obama out of office.
