About Me
My real name is Kelsie, but most call me Kel. I tend to obsess over the books I'm reading and I love musicals. The english language is my passion, and I use it modestly in poetry and sceenwriting. I have a dry and random sense of humour that borders on dark, but I can laugh at almost anything that amuses me.
One who can accept me just as I am, who can respect me and who deserves to have respect reciprocated. I look for that deep, emotional connection between two people.
books, politics, writing, poetry, spelling, being a grammar nazi, playing guitar, fantasizing about being on broadway, watching a lot of viral videos, technology and electronics, computers and video games, conventions and magazines pertaining to said video games (basically anything that falls into the geek category), questioning religion and poking fun at it, jetskiing, snowboarding, debates which turn into unilateral belligerence, happy pills, bitching about hip hop though secretly harboring a taste for it, psychology, studying foreign language, irish culture, tattoos and piercings (body modification), modern art, sculptures by Ron Mueck, impressionism, metal music and throwing up devil horns, overanalyzation, anxiety, laughter, irony, randomness, british comedy, great one-liners, cats, criticism
everything from metal to musicals:

The part where he climbs out the window to get to the next room, only to discover that ALL the room's windows have disappeared is insanely creepy.

I completely agree with everything you've said, considering that was MY exact experience with Twilight. Read it, liked it a little, then realized how much I truly hated it. Harry Potter will always be my favorite. It's not the greatest literary work of the 21st century, but at least it's original and tells a damn good story. (more)

Hope there's plenty of fireworks for you this weekend.
Also, FYI, when it comes to movies and music I like pretty much anything that's cool. For example, this morning I started off with some Billie Idol and moved on to Aretha Franklin, then topped it off with some Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters.

Thanks for all the compliments, Chica. Love your page, as well. Definately dig that Mc Frontalot. TOO FREAKING FUNNY! As for your comment, never played Guitar Hero, just like good music. And Clockwork is also a guilty pleasure of mine. Not much for the musicals, tho. But I got a feeling you'd be cool to watch one with. But I'm SO not singing along. LOL

lol I most definatly will. I find not all that many people enjoy stuff like Sweeny Todd and can then switch over to Hairspray. It's awesome to find someone else that can.
Have you ever gotten into Phantom of the Opera?
