About Me
I'm an artist, a slacker, and a lovable oaf. I'm an optimistic, rational realist and mildly purist (But there's always room for growing, evolving, and by that of course I mean fictional works, mostly.) Also, politically I'm moderate, religiously I'm agnostic, not so sure on spiritually yet but I don't believe in organized religion. I do however respect those who do have opposing religious/political views unless they confront me personally on the topic.
Joss Whedon, Obama, Matt Harding- Oh wait.. On Soda head?
People who are open minded and easy going.

Excercise, eating, art, computer stuff, roleplaying, Spore, Sims, more video games, reading, playing with my dog, riding my bike, people watching. Music.
I like films, video games, Broadway musicals and novels (Graphic and words) I like solitude most of my time but I also enjoy socializing with my friends. I like to cook and I'm pretty good, as I am also with a variety of artistic disciplines. I also like to shop, and I am not good at managing my funds. I also enjoy free form text based roleplaying, of which I play several characters from several fandoms, including Seely Booth from Bones, Harth Fray from Fray, Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, Brainiac 5 from Legion of Super Heroes, Bart Allen from DC comics, etc.
Oh god, big one. I like musical scores from movies, (often it's the reason I see the movie in the first place, (IE Transformers, I dunno, Bay's musical tastes always appeal to me..)
Really anything from Gorrillaz, Yeah yeah yeahs, Beatles, White stripes, even some Heavy Metal. I tend to stay away from the screamer rock though.

Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Best Week Ever, I love the 90s, Avatar: the Last AirBender
(Firefly is the best show ever)
Ben 10 (the original, not this five year older stuff, it's not nearly as well written), Robot Chicken, Simpsons, family guy, Supernatural-ETC ETC
There's some Anime in there too. Gundam Wing. Really. Mostly that. Read or Die?

Hard to say. Probably one of my anatomy books.
From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law. So you see my dilemma.
Joss Whedon. His work brought me out of some of my childhood insecurities. (not that I still don't have them, just that they're not as pertinent)

It would take alot more for me to actually praise him, however. (more) -

Here's the thing, if it was true? The Professor's character wouldn't have been so condescending to believers. Every athiest professor I've ever met was hip enough to live and let live. I doubt such a guy exists and does these things so openly with out being reprimanded by the school or reported by the students.
Plus, the idea of any piece of chalk breaking into a million pieces is sheer idiocy. It's just a story. (more) -

I only read the first 20 pages of the book and made it through five minutes of the movie before stopping. It's boring, and if taken too seriously it has really bad messages. I mean I can respect it if it's taken for what it is, which is fluff. Purple prose.
The best analogy I've ever had for it was "It's like a value meal at Mcdonalds. It tastes really good but it has no nutritional value whatsoever."
My other friend likens it to cotton candy, again, really sweet, really fluffy, but it's not very good for you.
And you know what? It's fine like that. I can dig it. I can respect people who understand that. But to say it's the best book EVER WRITTEN is sheer ludicrous. Also, I'm a Girl.
