About Me

I'm currently a student, I believe in speaking my mind in most situations unless it's inappropriate such as at work or unless I'm in an un-winnable situation. I'm a firm believer in my own fallibility, meaning everything I know can be wrong it just requires someone to prove me wrong. Other than that I'm fairly approachable and really hate putting myself or having others put me on a pedestal.

People who are willing to have polite and open discussions and who won't be offended when their beliefs are challenged. Open discussion with those willing to listen and hear what is said is the best solution to most problems in the modern world, or at the very least the first step in the right direction.

I like to read, play videogames, stay active with pretty much anything from playing golf to rock climing or camping. Though I do hate watching sports, I don't mind playing them in recreational fashion such as backyard football or soccer.
Other than that I love a good discussion/debate and love hearing new ideas and opinions.

lots of them, anything that either makes me think or is at the very least well written and gets me mentally and emotionally involved. Shogun, Enders Game, Atlas Shrugged, anything about philosophy, history, science, or economics/business.

"All the world is a stage and the people upon it merely players; they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his life plays many parts" -William Shakespeare

"There is no try, there is only do or do not" -Yoda (Star Wars)

"To punish me for my contempt for authority, fate made me an authority myself" - Albert Einstein

"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today" - Abraham Lincoln

"When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion" - Abraham Lincoln

"I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine"- Ayn Rand

"The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it" -Ayn Rand

Too many to list, they range from Alexander the Great, Voltaire, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Miyamoto Musashi, and of course Martin Luther King Jr.
