  • Thank you for posting and sharing some of your ideas, opinions and beliefs on the news story, "45% of doctors would consider quitting..." I always enjoy spirited debates with people of differing opinions who remain respectful and civil while doing so. Unfortunately I may not be able to respond to some of your most recent replies to me (if there are any) because so many comments have been posted that I'm unable to locate some of the responses to me. I guess it's safe to say that we disagree with how to reform health care. I look forward to meeting up with you again for further discussion and/or debate on other issues. It's people like you that make being a SH fun.

  • Thank God ---Prop 8 did not pass. What are we going to do with this bankrupt state of California. The last thing they need is new laws that cost more tax dollars.

    +4 raves Ummm .. which part? I don't think the First Amendment "protects" ANY religion, but it DOES protec... Ummm .. which part? I don't think the First Amendment "protects" ANY religion, but it DOES protect the right for people to practice freely ANY religion they choose, (which could be the church of yellow-bellied sapsuckers) and protects us "from" having a national religion.

    Given that the authors of the Amendment weren't themselves Christians

    Where was I? Oh yeah .... given that they weren't Christians themselves, I think it highly doubtful they would have expressly "protected" Christianity -- and certainly not to the exclusion of other beliefs.     (more)
