Your Religious Calling was written on Plates of Stone by the flaming finger of an angry God.

Our Religion was established by the Traditions of our Ancestors, The Dreams of our Elders that are given to them in the silent hours of night by the Great Spirit, and the premonitions of the Learned Beings.

It is written in the Hearts of our people, thus we do not require churches - which only lead us to argue about God.

Earthly things may be argued about with Men, But we never argue over God.

And the thought Man should Rule Over Nature and change its ways following his liking was Never Understood by Us.

    I've been FRG Leader for many years at different bases and naturally take the soldiers of the company and their families into my home as family and friends. So we do talk alot about what affects us the most at the present time...deployments to Afghanistan.
    My husband is K9 and when hands are short, patrol MP. I already told you before about how bad we were told it was in Afghanistan in another poll.
    He and his troops have been there and being re-deployed, one of them is on his 7th deployment. They believe they are doing this for the good of the civilians there, that they are making a difference. But that it should've been done much earlier and with much more of a military force.
    As for the defeat of Al Qaeda...I got mixed opinions. Some think we will never defeat them because the terrorists are being harbored everywhere, and because of the shortage of troops, they cannot secure a border. So once a squad or platoon leaves one area, that's when the terrorists move in. Others feel it will just take time and it would be a waste of human life and effort if we were to turn this into another Vietnam.

    All I ask is that no matter your opinion, no matter if you agree with them or not...PLEASE do not treat them like the Vietnam Vets were when they return. They deserve so much more than the spitting and the accusations and hatred.     (more)

My husband is being deployed there and we have been told it's really, really bad over there...worse than Iraq. That instead of a medic assigned to each platoon, it's a medic to each squad.
    It's like a hotbed of violence there with the terrorists. I'm just going off what we were told, not what is shared by the media.
    But if they are going there to try to establish any kind of normalcy, then I would want them to finish what they have been working on instead of just dropping it.
    Yes, soldiers have died and many more will die...but I would like to think that it was for something and not that those soldiers lost their lives just for us to pull out.     (more)
