About Me

I live in Washington state. When I tell people I am a libertarian, that I don't agree with Obama, and that I think our government was bad before the election and is in a downward spiral...most people assume I'm from eastern Washington where the republicans are hiding. Actually, I live south of Seattle with the Liberals. I think that's how I learned to disagree with them - by being constantly surrounded by them.

I don't pretend to be very intelligent. I can be very eloquent, and I'm very objective on political matters, but that only says something about a small aspect of my mind.

I'm a bit of a recluse. I love the outdoors. I'm a walking paradox. I enjoy the outdoors but my love for drawing, video games, and news keeps me inside.

Of the living, I'd really like to meet my favorite authors, John Noble (actor), and the President of the United States...even if I disagree heavily with him, meeting the president is still a unique opportunity.

Of the dead...probably Bing Crosby. Yep. Just him. ;D
Actually there's a lot of people, but I decided to shorten the list greatly.

I draw. A lot. This is where you can see my stuff http://greenofspades.devianta...

I also read quite a bit, and write a little.
I am a complete movie addict. I watch upwards of 2 movies a day. Terrible, I know.

I like just about everything except for Rap and Country. The sound of them both annoys me like the sound of flies.

I really like the old stuff. I like Classical music, and as cliched as it is to say so, Mozart is probably my favorite of the great composers. I like music that ranges from the 20s on up to the 80s. Some of my absolute favorite music makers include Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Glenn Miller, Queen, Pink Floyd and some others. Two bands that are still alive and kicking that I enjoy are the Foo Fighters and Muse.

Fringe.
Lie to Me.
DollHouse.

White Christmas, by a long shot. After that I could never choose a 2nd or 3rd (and so on) favorite.

My favorite book (and always shall be) is actually written at a fourth grade reading level. Never take for granted the good messages and love that goes into a genuine kid's book.

I also greatly enjoy Dean Koontz (in the middle of Forever Odd right now) and Stephen King.

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."
