Since you ask, I will tell you why, as a disenfranchised Democrat, I did not vote for obama and don't really like him now..........although I hope he doesn't fail our country. I followed the primaries very closely, working for Hillary, not 0bama because I thought he was inexperienced and unqualified. Had he waited awhile and got some experience in the Senate, I probably would have voted for him. He is bright and articulate, but how bright and articulate, I don't know because all his records are sealed. Why I dislike him is because I followed the primaries very closely and did not like his tactics. I think he used race to try to destroy the former president, WJC, and his first lady. He used it when Jessie Jackson made the statement after NH that he hadn't seen Hillary cry for the victims of Katrina, and he allowed Rep Clyburn to use race against the Clintons. Hillary had 67% of the black vote before Rev Wright made his "Hillary ain't never been called a N*gger" which was recorded and sent around the country to all the black churches. I understand why 0bama needed the black vote, but he could have won that through merit and black pride.......face it the blacks were very proud that one of theirs was running. I think this episode with Gates showed 0bama as a racist, but having followed his tactics in the primaries, I have known that for a long time. Maya Angelou told Oprah, she she asked her to support 0bama..."I am going home from the dance with the one who brought me." Maya Angelou is a lady with class; nothing like Toni Morrison, who tried to wriggle out of "calling Bill Clinton" the first black president......she called him that........he didn't call himself that!

Disenfranchised Democrat.....yes, because DNC Chair Howard Dean and RBC member Donna Brazile and others manipulated the primary vote to insure 0bama would win. It
is not my party anymore. That is mainly why I didn't support 0bama, and I am now an
Independent after voting Dem. all my adult life. I hope that answers your question. My question for you is why do you want to be my SodaHead friend? I have never declined a request to be a SH friend to anyone.........I just wonder why you want to be my SH friend.

BTW, I have been called racist by 0bama supporters more than I care to repeat, and I
only say to them, I know what is in my heart.
