Joshua 24: 14, 15
“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Revelation 21: 3, 4
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

YW - I don't think I've read "Beyond The Firmament" but I have books on hand to last at least the next couple years or so though - will have to check to see if I have that one and move it forward up the reading list. Thanks so much for the reference and help. Keep up the good work.

Sodahead will not supply a list of blockers and liberals are remarkably forgettable, thank God. The only one who comes to mind is Che, and that's because he blocked me for an obvious and relatively bland response to one of his more idiotic questions. I was stunned that someone with his rapier-like wit and deeply insightful commentary could be so fragile and easily wounded by a mere Conservative. C'est la guerre.

You're very welcome, Murph. I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Did you want to share your comment alone? If so, go to your comment and mouse over it. When you do, you'll see what looks like a little chain that comes up close to the "reply" button. Click on that chain and then follow the directions - click inside it I think to copy the perma-link to your comment and then just paste into wherever you're sharing it. If that's not what you needed, let me know. ♥

Any links to any of this alleged evidence? I tried to find information on the percentage of homosexual children resulting from homosexual couples and I couldn't find any because, as it turns out, there isn't any. No one has completed any research on homosexual couples raising children because there isn't a large enough sample population available to draw any reliable conclusions. This is actually a talking point for the homos. There's no proof one way or the other.

"ok, but marriage is older than the bible".
What is your source of information for this statement, and what's your point? Even if marriage is older than the Bible, so what? What ancient societies recorded regulations or customs about marriage, and what difference does it make that marriage also has a history in the Bible? Why are thousands of generations of human history and custom dismissed because it also happens to be in the Bible. Why are thousands of generations of human history and custom dismissed because the current fad has become un-natural sexual perversion.
I see no way to stop homos from doing whatever they want in private, but when society rebounds from this aberration, as it always does, what do you everyone to do? What do you want people to do now? I do not want laws conferring special privileges on less than 4% of the population, turned into a mandate against the free speech of the other 96%. Billions of people around the world believe homosexuality is un-natural, and militant gay rights activists want to stop them from saying so. They want to redefine marriage and insist everyone agree with them. They want normal people to stop teaching our children that homosexuality is morally wrong and sinful.

Guess what? It's not just right-wing Christians; it's moderate Christians, left-wing Christians (if there is such a thing), Muslims, Hindus, Buddists, Shinto, and every other religion, from every other culture in all of recorded history. The few contradictions to this norm have always been aberrations from which society eventually recovers, so please don't start to quote the latest salon.com article about South African gay porn cave drawings. Homosexuals are called queer for a reason; because they are. They even admit it and one of the most militant gay rights groups calls itself 'Queer Nation". Eventually this will all go away and become a distasteful moment in history similar to Pompeii or Sodom and Gomorrah. I don't want to talk about this anymore. I feel like I need to take a shower.
God bless.

Part of the problem is that gay "marriage" is relatively new to the scene and (hold you breath), homosexual unions/marriages are proving to be of an even shorter duration than normal marriages. They're also having a hard time finding volunteers to answer questionnaires. Most of the offspring from such unions are still relatively young and those eligible to participate are reluctant to answer questions about such personal matters. It seems that in spite of all the dreams of gay marriage proponents, the children still have to live in the real world with all of it's politically incorrect bias, and if kids in the schoolyard still make fat jokes about your mama, just imagine what they do with cucumber jokes about your daddy(s). So teenagers and young adults from these homes, broken or otherwise, do not as yet, want to talk about it. So where did the DOJ get all this information about all these warm and fuzzy gay households?
Until further notice and based on all prior behavior, it must be assumed that the DOJ lied their collective ass off to support their own political point of view, unless someone comes up with evidence to the contrary. Just don't hold your breath.
