About Me
I am here to state opinions, argue those opinions, and learn from others' perspectives.
I classify myself as a original constitutionalist politically, and I lean more right. I don't care about the conservative perspective, I just happen to be aligned with them more often than with liberals.
I believe that man should strive his utmost to being hard-working, honest, considerate, frugal, chivalrous, charitable, staunch, and pure. I expect every trait out of every person I meet. Usually, people fail to meet my expectations of them. Still, I give everyone a fair shot, and form my opinions based upon their surplus or lack of these essential values.
I believe in a Creator god, and in Natural Law, but I do not follow any mainstream religion out there (to hippies: I am not spiritual).
I try to accept people, except when acceptence is not mutual, and I try to tolerate all others.
I mull over most people's statements, and try to walk in their shoes. I know my way is not always right for everyone, and everyone's way is not always right for me.
I will promise you, if you try to contest me, I will never downrave you; racist, bigotrous, eccentric, etc. statements, all are part of each man's freedom of speech, and I have no right to decide whether you think the right way or the wrong way. Also, I will never block a person. I feel that when you block a person, you are either a coward or someone dumb enough to realize that you can't discuss intelligently with that person.
I look forward to pulling hairs and grinding teeth with you!
P.S. I do plan on making random statements that do not comply with my beliefs, so we can boil arguments down. My main intent is to gain wisdom by 'putting my hand on the stove'. Please, do not take my statements so seriously that you feel personally offended, just about everything I say is meant to provoke a response from you, but my intent is not to irritate, it is to engage.
P.S.S. I don't expect anyone to believe anything that I state. Most people don't have the conviction or delusions of grandeur to expect so much of themselves.
George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Karl Marx, Martin Luther King Jr., John Lenin, Ghandi, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jimi Hendrix, and George S. Patton.
Wasting my time.

People are either ignorant or too lazy. This has nothing substantial to do with the media. There are too many good outlets of information out there that you can't just blame th 6:00 news anymore. Yes there was gross malpractice this last election and today, but the hard truth of the matter is that most Americans are too lazy to look for the truth themselves. If they want everything cherrypicked and handed to them on a silver platter on the evening news, they we by all means, deserve to stay bound to our ignorance, and the consequences of it. (more) -

Look -with the possibility of genetic predisposition to a slow metabolism- we fatties are fat because of ourselves. In most cases, either we don't get enough exercise and/or we don't eat right.
Myself? I'm not lazy. I'll work the pants off of most anyone who is skinny and in-shape. However, I am a glutton. I enjoy eating food that tastes good. I generally refuse to eat anything that is green or grows in the ground (save potatoes and corn which really aren't healthy anyway). I am overweight because of my own actions. No one is to blame but myself. Most obese people don't want to admit their at fault for their own failures. The 'victim' mentality has so infiltrated our society, that no matter what your condition 'its not my fault'.
A healthy lifestyle is within reach of everyone. If we don't seek that healthy lifestyle, it is no one's fault but our own. (more) -

I would imagine 'white guilt' helped Obama to some extent, but I can't believe that it made a sizeable difference.
Having said this though, I still wouldn't vote for a socialist. (more)

Shane your post to chief100 was spot on. Dear leader's approval index goes negative for the first time. It is always refreshing to see some one in your age group with common sense and wisdom well above their age . You have a great head on your shoulders keep it up.
