I was Hard working over the years (administrative) -- off-and-on between family obligations -- now, it's just me and hubby. We receive periodic visits from children & grands: Sometimes to babysit, or they check to see if we're still alive. One son (of 2) comes by to do the hard stuff for us. The other son gives expensive gifts to us to show his love, I guess. Since he lives in Jersey, and a boss in the construction field, I guess he doesn't have as much time as the young'em.

Believe it or not, I'm in superb condition for my age and, compared to me, my husband looks much older. Then again, he had a lot more 'fun' (if you know what I mean) in his younger days of wine, women & song; but, today, the poor man is paying for it.

I love life enough to appreciate my Blessings each & everyday. I found one doesn't have to be a million/billion/trillionaire to be content. Money is only paper, but living a decent life is priceless.

Housework as a method of exercise ... and it works!

COOKING. My favorite room is the kitchen. If I can't cook it, I'll find out how. Always, during those moments, I' blast the radio (conservative talk radio). Not only do Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Levine, Savage, Gallagher, etc. keep me company, but I also stay informed. I found this keeps my husband out of the way since he's an unconcerned liberal.

DECORATING. My home never stays the same because I enjoy adding this or that to make it as homey as possible. Yep, I'm hell to live with because I'm a neat-freak.

ARTS & CRAFTS. I've created a Series called, 'The Diva Foil Collection' which I hope to market one day. They're made from aluminum foil pans and are not only unique, but quite cute! I plan to write a storyline around them geared towards teenagers. Yep, I'm always making something out of nothing. If you need something, I can do it.
