True conservatives like her and an increasing number of independents are interested in what she is about. The majority in the U.S. are craving public figures with values, hence her popularity, and the liberal obsession with her just increases interest in Palin. Being from Detroit, I know the Detroit Free Press is the local liberal newspaper so I doubt they are bloating the numbers that arrived at the book signing. (more)
