Im going to have to be sure to make a mental note of who some of those anger filled social misfits were. To think that these misinformed bigots would actually have the audacity to think that they even remotely understand or were informed enough to even judge and discuss another community that way. Obviously theyre not intelligent enough to even realize how stereotypical and ignorant they were being by trying to critisize the entire black community as a group merely due to their dislike of an independent organization. Thats akin to me bashing whites merely because the KKK exists. I find it funny that one of the idiots even cited Glen Beck as a reference, so it explains what type of brain dead, back woods trash were dealing with here. (more)

Theres no mistaking the subtle nuances of the heralded blonde blue eyed look in western culture......however I can honestly say that I dont think that its that widespread anymore and that this "standard of beauty" has changed alot. There are indeed more accepted minority "sex-symbols" here in america now than ever and to be quiete honest this feels like were digging up a can of old worms with this question. Its a subject that used to be a huge issue that is really no longer one. Psychologically it is important to note that african americans are the only race who doesnt feel as much pressure to hold themselves to western standards of beauty due to our own culture, we have the lowest instances of eating disorders of any race or culture as a result of this. Also...a light skinned blonde male could argue that its not fair that he hears the whole "tall, dark and handsome thing so much" or that "black men are bigger". So my bottom line is that its not really much of an issue anymore. (more)
