Truth

I picked the name "thetruth", because I love God's Word! It IS truth! , and that's what i want to bring to SodaHead! Jesus! He is "Truth" incarnate! Not that I know everything, but the Word of God is a living power that judges as with an all-seeing eye, penetrating a persons innermost being, and to know the indescribable joy in knowing Jesus, is what I bring in the name of "thetruth" ...



John 6:29
Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."



Galatians 1:10
10Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.




Hebrews 4:12

Catholic's and every Christian denomination have traditions and practices that are not explicitly based on Scripture. That is why Scripture must be the standard of Christian faith and practice. The Word of God is always true and reliable. The same cannot be said of church tradition. Our guideline is to be: “What does Scripture say?” (Romans 4:3; Galatians 4:30; Acts 17:11). 2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”


I'm not here to condemn, that's the Lord's job, but only to show and let truth be known. I am nothing without Christ Jesus who gives me strength! Truth can be a hard thing to accept, but by the Holy Spirit, we can be lead into all truth! Just ask Him and you will see ;)

When I say... 'I am a Christian, I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living'.
I'm whispering 'I was lost; now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian,' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian,' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say ... 'I am a Christian,' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian,' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian,' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian,' I'm not holier than thou. I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!
