  • Thank you Hayley for trying to bring a little order to the Question regarding the Holocaust shooting today. I was just so appalled that I'm afraid I need to get off for awhile so that I can read and study the posts better. This is just awful.

They obviously are damaged in some way that the have a need to not merely disagree. Wait their turn and vote for someone else and hope others like them are in a majority, They have to bash and downgrade, and belittle what is not hatefilled just like they are. Sad but true. Forgiveness is actually for the forgiver not the forgiven anyways. (more)

As a person with a very close family member who suffers from psychosis, I always ask myself in these horribly sad cases...Where were they when the persons mental capacity diminished? Afterwards, when the horrific tragedy has occurred, they all tell how the person was showing signs of meltdown, yet why did they not take action to protect the innocent? If she was hearing voices before the birth, why then didn't the father protect the child, and see to it that she got the help she needed and the child was kept safe? In my opinion, those such as this father, who knew she was going down hill mentally, and stood by and didn't do anything are just as guilty, if not more so, because they had the ability to stop it, and chose to do nothing, and allowed it to happen. When I was a girl and would spend so much time with my grandmother, we would read together. We would lay on her bed at night before sleep and work owrd search puzzles. She would talk to me endlessly about what I could be when I grew up. She would take me to bingo with her on occasion. She would watch me dance and dance when I was just really little. She encouraged my love of all kinds of music. My love of learning. My love of books. She encouraged my belief in the impossible. She took me to museums. She would answer any question any time any where. She played putt putt golf with me. She would drive around in the summer evenings and have me tell her which way to turn until I got sleepy. She carried me to bed until I was 8 years old, and her health wouldn't let her. She was ALWAYS there no matter how big, or small the matter. She gave me lots of hugs. Lots of kisses. And she would come in and smooth my hair back when I was almost asleep. She always got me welches grape juice when I had a cold....she made me feel loved and cherished and like I could do anything. She made me a very happy child. (more)
