I'm glad that you have plenty of support, but so sorry to hear that your dad died. I bet you and your sister have gotten even closer since then. It's good that you don't let the bastards get you down. Anyway, I imagine that you're approaching the end of your HS years this June or June 2010. Either way, you're almost done---and you'll have a lot more options about how to live your life from that point forward. May your life be filled with love and laughter,

It's been a long, long time since I've been 17, but I remember HS as a time when there was a lot of pressure to conform. Are you getting a lot of crap from other students about your bi lifestyle, athesim and/or politics? You live in KY, too, which I know is a cherry red state, very conservative, Bible-belt, etc. I hope that you have all the support that you need---including your family--in your life to weather the windstorms of ignorance and hatred that may be blowing your way.
