I am a professional illustrator, have been for over 30 years...means I can paint and draw. Hm...married for 23 short years, the most beautiful wife you can imagine, and two kids - - 18 and 6...go figure. I also design homes. Not the chicklits found in a suburb development but big ones...you can imagine how much work I've had in the last couple of years. Architectural illustrations have taken a tole too...luxury items.

I am Conservative though for an artist, this is a dichotomy...imagine an artist, straight and a Christian all in one. Possible? Sure but it hurts when my church family (when we first began) wondered, "You're not gay?" They were shocked to find out that I was married and with a child...then we had another child. "You're still not gay?"
Preconceptions are hard to overcome. I still trust in Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior!
Now imagine all the years and still today when my friends within the art-professional community wonder..."You're not gay?"
Lonely life...but I'm happy with my family and the friends who except me as I am. Many here on SodaHeads! Mega applause for you!
