Now we know nothing of our history and forced to blame others for the issues their ancestors set in motion. Why didn't I learn this in high-school? I went back and read my response again. I'm not sure what it was for; I may have been ranting and raving because of what some idiot said, or been hot (angry) on some subject. Whatever it was, I apologize; sometimes on here it gets to be like factory work and you just run on auto pilot. Unfortunately, the auto doesn't tell you it's running out of gas and that it's time to go to sleep.
Anyway, lots of luck in music...I've been in Florida for 10 years and can't find musicians who I can play with...In NYC I was playing 3-5 nites a week, but not here!

His greatest influence was Buddy Guy. When he met Clapton, he told him that he had no rhythm chops. Another of his influences was King Curtis. I think mostly all of his influences were black guys, same as me. My influences were Albert King, Freddy King, Albert Collins; Jimi Hendrix. Clapton for his 60s tone; after he switched to a strat and started with that lay down sally crap, it was enough for me.
At one point, I was auditioning musicians and two black guys came in to audition for drums. Ah, I thought. Black drummer; great sense of rhythm. Know what? They both sucked! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Stereotypes flying away! But a lot of the guys I played with were black, a lot white, some hispanic, one chinese guy that I wanted but he was a mercenary who demanded to be paid for rehersal.
That's all blather; the thing is I think we misunderstood eachother. Yes, I'm a right winger from a long line of them. I have my points of view. You're black and seemingly to the left. It's government people that we rant and rave about, but in the street everything is everything and we'd most likely be friends until politics came up. Then, we'd just be debating, disagreeing and that's it.
And yes, I seem polite because I am polite. I also have some points of view that some find prickly, and I will argue, signify and put my point of view out there, in a way that 'satisfies' me as I write. It isn't put on; it's what's appropriate for the instance.

Re evidence that Obozo was born in Kenya. Just Google: "O'bama's African birth certificate". I have a copy & I am convinced that it is authentic. He was born in the Provident Hospital in Mobassa, Kenya & the document contains the signatures of the attending doctor and the medical administrator for the city at that time. CASE CLOSED!! REMOVAL FRIOM OFFICE IS REQUIRED!
