I'm a retired lady married to my best friend for 30 years plus. I have a wonderful family...children/grandchildr... adore them all. We live in SE TN on 3.5 acres, very private and quiet.

Pretty disgusting world we live in....thanks to movies/TV we get a steady diet of this mess but at least with TV you can turn it off. Then there are the young girls beating up on one another and putting it on YouTube; the nonsense is unending.

As to the Thomas case: The charges that were dropped were failure to show proof of insurance, running a red light, having an improper address on a driver's license and not having a registration sticker on the windshield. She accepted deferred adjudication for the illegal U-turn charge, and her record will be cleared next month.
She was detained 3 hours but she should have had her paperwork in order if she plans to drive on Dallas streets. (more) -

The insurance companies have an abundance of lobbyists so true health care reform will probably never pass anyway. Universal health care in other countries does not involve insurance companies at all, physicians are paid a salary, meds are minimal cost if any, malpractice suits are few because the individual (patient) suing MUST pay all court costs/legal fees, etc. should he/she loses. Also, with kidney problems, they don't believe in dialysis as we do so you're just left to fend for yourself which means ultimately death. The insurance companies should really get out of the health care business as they are the ones getting the extreme profits, not necessarily the physicians any longer unless they are into extreme specialties, i.e., cosmetic surgery, etc. I wish I knew the answer as I would like to see where all people were given the opportunity to have health care in this country except ILLEGALS...The illegals receiving health care is bringing the system down, if they don't want to become Americans, then they need to go home.
