Do not take me quietly,
Sitting on the nursery floor.
Peaceful not, I hope to be
As I approach the final door.

The journey's end for all the same,
it matters not from whence we came
but how we traveled to that goal
to squeeze or colorize our soul.

Accomplishments of hollow worth
are by empty minds put forth
as deeds of merit everlasting
but only leave the spirit fasting.

Numbered days or praise of men,
matter little at the end.
Notes of pride and writs of harm,
in their combustion will not warm.

No numbing breath,
No gentle sleep,
No sinking softly in the deep.

No holding hands or velvet chains
to keep me on a path of pain.

Tear me crashing thrashing thrusting through the portal
pray God swiftly seize my soul immortal.

Receives the seed of Sun,

Morning light.
