About Me
I love everything! I wish I were taller, and factually I know that I should spend more time doing things I'm not, like filling out scholarship applications. My teachers have called me "Driven", and other such euphemisms for "NERD in disguise".
Emperor Caligula
I'm in show choir, Jazz choir, Speech team, Newspaper Staff, Plays, Musicals, Track and Field, Church Choir, Spanish Club, FBLA, (Future Business Leaders of America) and a hundred other things
Music. I sing, I dance, I sing some more. I have a voice range from almost to the bottom of the bass voice part to a high F, and I sing very loudly. I'd like to think I sing well. My little sister is not very kind to me however.
I sketch whenever the mood strikes me. I like people, and clothing, and intricate patterns. Mostly I do (fairly realistic) people. I also write, but I will probably never ever show another living being. Aside from my dog. She never critisizes me.

I'm on a Regina Spector kick right now.
Scrubs, right now.

I like you. You make an intelligent conversation.
You sure can go on though. I have to disagree on that we are slaves to our government. If I were to agree that our governemnt is corrupt (I'm not denying or agreeing here), I would have to say that whatever IS going on isn't really "slavery" so much as supported oppression as we do have rights and such. That may be even worse, but yeah.
Your first paragraph, on the two party sytem being a one party system to undermine the American people's intelligence? I can't agree. I see little in the way of intelligence. People undemine THEMSELVES through apathy and things like voting for the guy with the cool name, or the one who got the most press coverage.
Yay herd of sheep.
Yes, the bailouts are disgusting. I can't say where the money should go, but the CEO's of huge corporations who already have so much mony they couldn't possibly spend it all should not be benefitting. Their employees, maybe.
I despise welfare. In certain cases it is necessary, even a great thing. But people are lazy and abuse it. If you are physically capable of holding down a job, no one else should be paying your bills. At least not all of them. I remember hearing about one girl, who upon being asked why she didn't bother in school, remarked that she didn't even need to graduate for her given career. She stated that she intended to ge pregnant fve or six times and the government would pay for her, just like her mother did.
Sick, pathetic people.

I do blame Bush for everything that happen on his watch. You cannot blame the past for the present course of action. I agree with you on it's not only his fault. I do believe the two party system is really a one party system that was created to undermine the intelligence of the American people.
(Paragraph break)
The two party system bounces between issues that effect us personally, while ripping us off financially. These bailouts are a prime example. These over grown companies are now seeing the effects of greed. Oil prices inflated the eyes of the consumer, and made them think "budget." This is a normal event. The government in turn decides to use this scare tactic to payback lobbyist for their generous political contributions. AIG gets parties, and expensive massages, and Citigroup gets a luxury Jet!
I don't blame Bush entirely for our failing economy, because both Obama, and McCain signed for this (TARP) Bailout. I blame the two party system. As long as we continue to vote out of fear, and ignorance, the longer we will continue to live as slaves to our government.
Take for example this new 820 billion stimulus package that is being presented. It seems like we are blinded by the fact that we already gave out trillions of dollars for the war, 700, billion for the banks, 25 million for Boscov's, and now 820 billion dollars for a stimulus package? Remember Bush's $600 stimulus checks?
All of this money is newly printed money. The more we print the less our money is worth. Everything that has been approved recently is more like a de-stimulus package then anything else. If our government cannot learn to live on a budget then how are we going to?
Our government is selling out America with every bad decision. China owns our war debt, and OPEC owns our economy.
Monopolies need to end! The Federal Reserve needs to be limited in power. Our presidents need to start caring about us, because without the consumer there is no economy. The government sees the economy through Wallstreet, when it should be looking at the economy through the eyes and minds of Main street.
Without our independence we have nothing. The only way to stabilize our economy is to stabilize our way of life. Unpredictability, like the bills we get in the mail can cause us to become homeless. Gas prices, electric bills, cell phone bills, and variable APR's can trap us to become dependent. We have become a spoiled, socialistic society. We have become accustomed to our government's welfare in exchange for inflated taxation.
Until we learn to become responsible for ourselves, and stop relying on our government for welfare; we will continue to slide down an abyss that will burry us in debt. Money is generated through our labor, and half of what we earn goes to taxes. If this is not enough for our government to live on then there is a problem.

I am disappointed to hear that there are still George Bush supporters out there. I ask you, what did he do right? 9/11 went after Saddam instead of Osama (the real terrorist to America), Saddam is a terrorist to his own people. He "Bush" used a scare tactic to convince us that Saddam had WOMD's. That turned out to be a lie (or faulty intelligence). He showed up late to the twin towers, he showed up late to Katrina. He started a war that his own dad said would last a generation (If we went into Bagdad, and we did). people call him GB a dummy, and I would like to think that, but I think he just went on his own agendas, and failed to represent the American people. Again I ask, what did he do right? He is a Osama Bin Laden sympathizer, and he is friends of the family! Both the Bush empire, and Dick, do business with the Bin Ladens. The latest ventures (The Iraq war, and Dubai) The Iraq war was unconstitutional, undeclaired, and unjustified. George B used Trillions of newly printed Federal Reserve Dollars to wage a war on people who are brainwashed. Us going in there to kill 100,000 of them is not good PR. How many of the 100,000 were terrorist? All, some, none? Depending on your perspective. Would you buy a gun and defend our country if they came over here? I would! The truth is we are in deep crap! This cycle started in the seventies during the oil scare, and it has turned full circle to another scare tactic. The only way we can fix the policies that make us dependent is to start supporting domestic alternative energies. Wind, Solar, Hydro, geo-thermal, fuel cell technology, and others. People need to open up there eyes, and see the truth before them. Not what they want to see, but what reality presents to them. We ARE in an economic crisis. How did we get there? The economy is based on losses in wallstreet, and by the inflation of our currency, and the devaluing of the dollar. With every foreign loan, bailout, stimulus check, and every handout, our government gets deeper into debt, and our dollar becomes less attractive to foreign trade. I don't blame Bush for everything, but I blame him for most of it. The only president who raised funding towards alternative energy is Bill Clinton, (Bush renamed some of this money, the freedom car, and tried to link Nuclear Power to clean energy). I can tell that if you still haven't seen what Bush has done to this country, then you will never see him in a negative light. Even when a potential depression surfaces, you will blame it all on Obama. Yes, I totally disagree on these bailouts, Bush supported them, McCain voted for them, and so did Obama. I supported Ron Paul because he is totally 100% against propping up bad debt. Companies over extend themselves, merge, and go bankrupt all the time. Do we bail all of them out? Will the government pay off your mortgage if you can no longer make the payments? Over-priced homes keep us in debt, Monopolies like the oil industry, and power companies like PPL, and PECO keep us on a grid because they can control us that way. The Hybrid car was invented in the 70's, water electrolysis was invented before gasoline, ethanol was used in the combustion engine before gasoline? Why have we shifted off course....the answer is greed. It's time to start looking after ourselves. Until we break free from foreign and domestic monopolies, our government has control of us. The more we allow them to take away our freedoms, (the Patriot Act). we will never be a free country.
