About Me

I am a lifelong carpenter and owner of a construction company. I make art grade wood turnings, custom furniture, and do construction on my own, it is nice not to have to deal with employees or employers anymore. I have been interested in politics all my life and spent hundreds of hours working on political campaigns, I also write about politics, mostly for my own enjoyment and because it helps to focus ideas. Some of my turnings are shown in my media, if you'd like to see more, go to http://mavericjoinery.com/sho... and you'll find my website.

    My respect.

Well, that and an honest wish for happiness for you and those you care about.

All the White House has done is express an opinion about the validity of FOX, but crybaby Glenn is back on the kitchen floor kicking and screaming like a two year old. No one has told him to shut up, just that they don't agree.
If you object to that opinion you have that right, if you object to anyone having that opinion you do not believe in freedom.

My family was very racist when I was young, it has saddled me with thoughts that I know on every rational level are wrong, they are unethical. I don't believe anyone who knows me even suspects I have them. I consciously stop them and they are never voiced, yet it irritates me that they continue to come to mind. I know better.
It isn't something that I dwell on, nor do I feel any guilt over it, I don't mistreat people on the basis of it so I see it as a flaw and not a crime, and I learned long ago to forgive myself for being human.
So there it is, it's not the answer I would choose to give, and it's not the one I would be the most proud of, but it is honest.

He uses Paine's name to radicalize a movement that is largely Christian, but never mentions that Paine was the most outspoken Atheist of his time, or that Paine died in poverty and rejection because of the religious bigotry of his peers.
Here are a couple of quotes that leave little doubt where Thomas Paine stood.

The study of theology, as it stands in Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on nothing; it proceeds by no authorities; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing and admits of no conclusion.
-- Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason (1793-5), quoted from Jonathon Green, The Cassell Dictionary of Cynical Quotations

All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.
-- Thomas Paine, (1737-1809), The Age of Reason, pt. 1, "The Author's Profession of Faith" (1794), quoted from The Columbia Dictionary of Quotations

He can say anything he wants to make himself feel better, his delusions don't interest me any more than the delusions of our own crazy people do. What matters in this case is that he has backed down and agreed to giving inspectors unfettered access, just like what matters with our nuts is that our President IS President, and there's not a damned thing they can do about it.
Achmeddenutjob is a Holocaust denier, and ours are American election deniers, neither are of any merit.

An elected President who is trying to do exactly what he promised in the election, and someone thinks they can cry him out of office. You can't ignore American elections and call yourself American, it simply isn't honest. (more)

Evolution is an almost universally accepted scientific theory, it is the basis of modern biology and medicine.
The two are not even related subjects, except to those who choose to reject both.
Nothing has ever been learned by any human without asking questions, those who are offended by those questions are doomed to eternal ignorance.

According to the CNN poll after the President's speech, sixty seven percent of the American people are for the health care reform program the President laid out. When are we going to work like a democracy, ignore these mouthy punks who apparently believe their toddler style tantrums should stop the will of the people, and get this done?
We should encourage them to push forward with their cries for secession, have them meet all in one place, and arrest them for the treasonous act it is.
These are the same degenerates who threatened the lives of these beautiful women for voicing their opinions, the same thugs who murder doctors and bomb clinics, the same con men who preach to the world while their hookers, male and female, wait back stage.
I wore my uniform proudly many years ago, and I'll put it back on if this scum needs a fight. Muslim terrorists brought down the towers, but Christian terrorists threaten our nation, not Christians, Christian terrorists. The American People voiced their will in an election, anyone who will not recognize that voice is an enemy of our country. My grandchildren will not live in an intolerant Theocracy because I wanted to make nice with people who yell about liberty but do not believe in it!
