Yeah I used to think my religious views were like a cult but they aren't. It was just the people like James and the crazies I grew up with that had me feeling that way. Chronologically it was being scared into my parent's views (which are of course shared by a lot of other people I knew) which made me vulnerable to the crazies and people like James.

You know, auto enthusiasts (not you but the ones who think that my taste in cars is a threat to the nation) are nothing but grown up "Twitards" as they call them, except they like cars instead of Twilight. "Twitards" have been known to block on Sodahead, get violent and condemn others to hell over Twilight. Auto enthusiasts try to say that anyone who isn't like them is a threat to the country and if they're a guy they're not manly. I've had people type up 5 paragraph essays about how I'm trying to cut down (with legal power) the car culture, just for saying that I'd rather drive a certain model of car over another. They're nothing but grown up Twitards that use politics to try to make themselves look smart instead of just being flat out childish about their twisted passion, but I can see through it.

I see Pontiac Firebirds/Transams everywhere and I think of you every time I see them. They hold the distinction of being the only non-Code-fitting car I notice these days, and all because of you :)
