Many more, smaller ones are going broke due to the government taking more money while wagging the finger at companies, you do realize all your favorite poilitians have been getting rich through this, and yet the companies that are not in the top 3-5 are losing money big time.
Refineries are limited and plenty gets burned up, never used. This is gov's fault, oil needs more. As far as drilling goes, Offshore is what my family does--gas is what the gulf produces alot of right now, and these wells are being plugged in, which is millions lost due to gas being to low in value, over oil. The gas prics are up from taxing, but the companies are losing more money, which is going to hurt us all.
While every one complains about them getting rich, it takes so much money, millions, just to drill a well, open a plug etc.
Do not believe what the government is telling you as they love to blame the oil companies--truth be told, we have more than enough oil, here in America, but it will not be touched, not because of complaints by lefties, but because they are determined to bleed the Middle East and other foreign countries dry before we bleed ourselves--it is the most valuable resource in the midst of war, and any real oilman, knows they would love to just stay here and drill, but Big Brother has other plans. +8 raves I was nine months pregnant and was prepairing for one of my last meals with my first child in my ... I was nine months pregnant and was prepairing for one of my last meals with my first child in my tummy, and i chose a chinese buffet, well, umm i didnt think of it being sunday, we got there early before church let out, i got a little salad, ahh sweet, but when i got up to get a real meal, bein soo pregnant, the church herd came out(no offense i am a christian just not a brain dead one) and the fat old men in church suits, looking just as pregnant as me, literally shoved and pushed me out of the way actually even pushing my belly out of the way, so like pigs they could devour the entire buffet and get seconds in minutes, it was traumatizing, and i never want to eat at a buffet dring prime hours, every one is fat, in a hurry, and shovel it in, dont you notice how they compete over who gets what first, its discusting...
