About Me
I'm a Long Term Single Parent, and A Survivor .. (I survived a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent (sociopathic) ex).
Raised my two children alone -- I worked very hard to ensure that they not only would have what they needed, but also be able to enjoy some of the 'typical childhood things too (Scouts, After School Activities, Sports, etc).
Now an Empty-Nester, I am enjoying being (FINALLY!) able to sit down and Relax a bit .. something that I'd not experienced before! That also came with the extra free time .. which I am now using to enjoy a class (or two) at the Local College -- as well as Volunteering where I can.

RIght now, my favorite activities are:
My SLR Photography (love going on Nature Walks/Trails)
My Home Renovations (I am enjoying doing it MYSELF)!
being BACK in College (this time for fun and to stay active).
It is so nice to finally enjoy classes once again .. especially as an 'elder'. This allows me the freedom to really participate as much as I want (I never 'slack off' -- I always do the work assigned!), but it is FUN To explore new thoughts, ideas, subjects in ways I could never dream of when I earned my ORIGINAL Degrees!

How about if the ILLEGALS do NOT get any PUBLIC AID at all .. NO Welfare, NO Food Stamps .. NO Public Housing, NO AFDC .. NOTHING .. not even that HEALTH Care that they use so much of (and never pay for) ..
THAT Alone .. with ENFORCING The Existing LAWS .. (and sending the ILLEGALs back -- one way ticket) should help out a LOT ..
OH .. and add to that cost savings also a PAY CUT for the Legislators .. CUT Their Staffs too .. and force them to LIVE like the average person does .. no more perks at all. (more) -

By the way, there was NO Economic Expansion at all .. when you consider the Job Losses .. the closure of small/medium busiesses .. the LARGE number of Additional Bank Failures .. the Further Failure of Big-Box Corporations (I see so many "Going out of Business" sales and CLOSED forever signs each and every day .. and this is NOT unusual anywhere around the US -- all my family members and friends report the same signts).
By the Way .. Edmunds reported that this program cost the TAXPAYERS $24K (yes, 24 THOUSAND DOLLARS) per vehicle rebate processed ... Gee ... and here the Teleprompter et al are trying to say it is somehow .. someway .. 'good'?
